Where did CrimeWatch come from :o ?
Hopefully there is something on the Trading Standards / Citizens Advice Bureau that can shed some light. Or enough complaints. Its a total rip off that we have to pay more. Surely its not that hard to convert one game price into multiple currencies.
You think is that easy ?....I will give you an example, in Italy a coffee is around EUR 1, where I live though you would pay your coffee EUR 3.50 (already converted from my currency into EUR) .so tell me you think is still that easy ? an average cost of a game in this part of the world is around EUR 75.-- to EUR 90.-- (already converted) and I speak of standard edition. Now tell me, you would really like to apply the exchange rate without taking into account the cost of living in each of the countries ??? seriously ? you sure ? Because see, you might end up to have to pay for a standard edition very basic the price I showed above, which is around 3x higher, so once more...you really believe is that easy??? The price needs to be set taking into account various parameters especially if you use one single currency not used in all the countries in Europe to set a price that will fit everybody, not too high for some and not too high for others.
Beyond this, those prices should have been set way before the launch and ready for all. This is unacceptable that, beyond the mistake, we do not have STILL anything up, mistakes occur, is no problem, but the silence is deafening and the should I use the word unprofessionalism in the resolving of this situation is even worse.
Hopefully, though, we will have an explanation and surely it will have nothing to do with *prices*

Why are we being expected to pay a hell of a lot more for the same product.
Lol Mojo xD - its gonna stay in perpetual maintanence.
This is seriously ridiculous, there must be something we can do as consumers. Companies should not be able to get away with charging obscene prices like this. If I knew even how or what to do I'd be certainly reporting them.
Well all yesterday and this morning I have been constantly asking Square Enix Europe on twitter to make a comment about the £129.99 / $129.99 issue but they are completely avoiding me and a few others who have asked the same question.
Its a shame that are purposefully avoiding it, A simple "We currently have no exact prices available at this time, watch this space" would put most peoples minds at ease but alas they seem to want to keep the UK fan base on the edge. The fact they "confirmed" that the price is £129.99 on twitter is leaving me and I'm sure a lot of you guys also with a very sour taste in your mouth but I will keep tweeting at them for an answer about the pricing.
I'm guessing we'll just have to wait until the store comes back online and see what the outcome is... if they even manage bring the store back online that is lol
1 GBP was 1.71 USD in July '14.
1 GBP is 1.48 USD in March '15.
SE just assumes the British pound is further going down until end of June.
i agree,
as a diehard ff fan i have always bought ANY collectors edition physical without thought, but as much as im sitting here ready to pay that money, i just cant justify it, sadly it will be the first physical CE i have missed from FF but i already feel better at the amount of money im saving as i can now also pay for type 0 for what this would of cost.
if it was priced fairly then fine but not putting my money here, so will buy digital ce instead
