I've been using it for 2 days now - caught 15 different Big Fish so far..... Unfortunately....this bastard...(gathering 393...):

FF14angler is great - when you press this little "COG" icon to bring up settings - use "checked" symbol to mark the fish you've already caught and crossed red circle to mark the fish needed. You can also limit the results to 2.3 patch only (if you're already on Go Big or Go Home III). Then click close to filter out the fish you need.
When you set thing up - just keep checking the webpage (http://na.ff14angler.com/timetable.php) for green marked fish - that's the required time and weather for that fish.
EDIT:

http://na.ff14angler.com/ - Awesome site for fishing and weather.
Tugs - Each set of fish has 1 0f 3 type of tugs. Light, Medium, Heavy.
Example: Octomamath - Medium tug will only produce Coral Butterfly and Harbor Herring so you should ignore a light tug to save time. Pill Bug > Med tug > Harring Harbor -Massive/Heavy Tug = Octomammath. If there is no massive tug you can let the fish go to save time as it will only be a blue octo.
Olgoi-Khorkhoi (Heatwave)- Sand Leech - Medium Tug - Storm Rider - Massive Tug - Caravan Eel > Olgoi-Khorkhoi. If no massive tug it will always be a manta. Tugs are key to farming. Hopefully people can help with a tug guide in more detail as i listed. This guide has all the Two star fish i believe.
Anyone else having problems opening http://na.ff14angler.com/ ?
I'm the only one feeling depressed without the Angler? T_T

Thank you! So much easier to have two weather types especially in Coerthas. ff14angler is nice but I've gone off this forum and already at Go Big IV so it isn't needed as much in my opinion. The 3 Thousand Year Itch get aways I got in one weather cycle has humbled me again. T.T
