DPS meters and why they're necessary

Just curious, what "endgame" are you referring to? T8? T9?

I never said that..

I said people had them (in some games, not all)... not that they were needed, they were more of an annoyance to be honest.

Citation needed. "Highest end" how, because if it's not "beating Turn 9" or at least "Turn 8 on farm" I fail to see how that's "highest".

Again your experience prove that they ARE needed in other games. It'a not needed that EVERY player use it but they are needed.

Sure, after you know the stats weight, after you know the fight strategy, if you don't struggle with dps checks they are no longher needed but they have alredy done plenity to be called needed

The game designers don't make a game that requires 3rd party add-ons then ban them from use.

Even despite this, if you've read past the last pages here you would see two simple views:

1. I don't believe they are "needed". Our experiences tell us differently, neither really matter.
2. I don't really have an issue with them even in this game, except for being used in duty finder to kick people.

Are you going to ever provide proof to any claims you make or are you just going to keep spewing the same rhetoric and make random assumptions without any knowledge ?

For the record turn 5 is not endgame nor is titan ex etc. You can 4 man titan ex and 6 man twintania (maybe less I haven't tried it, doubt you can do less than 4 on titan due to goals though. ) The content itself doesnt provide the same punch it once did due to gear/echo.

I wish they could add a mini trials instance for single players - like a mini Titan, where you have to kill him in 5 minutes and it shows your damage output on the side and show's your rank-up (A, B C, S)....I think this might have been mentioned! >< apologies if it has

And overall, I wonder if we had like a rank-up meter at the end of each instance/raid (doesn't matter which) instead of showing someone's DPS numbers per mob/fight (that information could stay privately with the player). For example, at the end of an instance, you can see which DPS ranked first, second, third in overall damage #goldstarsticker #youcanhavethis

Edit: understanding each dps has a different output to other dps - but maybe could promote a "healthier" way of acknowledging the out-performers and assisting the ones struggling?

...and how far into endgame are you? Got that t9 clear?

Also, how early did you get your clears.

I am 100% certain that leading FCs use parsers. Again, you can be all naive/ignorant all you want, but that just speaks for you not the endgame scene.

I said it in my post that you quoted, yet clearly didn't comprehend, and I'll say it again - it's easy for people to claim they're clearing endgame content without parsers (even though you can never really be sure) after the players who actually cleared first release/share their strats.

At this point, since you've managed to actually suggest that the claim of progression FCs using parsers is a matter of opinion, you've already dug yourself into a hole deeper than before in terms of credibility. To think you even suggest that people wouldn't use parsers because they don't want to risk getting banned lol. You can use a parser all you want and you will never get banned as long as you're discreet about it. That's a fact. Yoshi P said it himself. Why? That's because they have absolutely no way to tell if someone is using a parser unless they openly say they are and provide a screenshot that proves they are.
