Tackle box needed for bait

Yes absolutely need a tackle box. So much bait in my inventory. I could care less about a chair. Chairs are good for deep sea fishing boats with some beer oh but that's right we don't have fishing boats >.> So much they could still do for my beloved dol's. What a shame.

Has there been any mention as of this year of new aspects like fishing on ships/boats or anything else besides the chair. While I'm here thanks for the master fishing ring. It's wonderful to showcase on my retainer ya know since you can't attach any materia to it.

I'd also like to ask for some contests, more gear, tougher fish to catch or at least better rewards for achievements or even to be able to upgrade the halc.. I mean the luminary rod. Either.. or ...since they have the same stats.

This needs to happen. NEEDS TO HAPPEN! Please. :)

Its insane how they shove us so much content yet gives us no extra room to store the items and we've been asking for more slots, storage, etc.. for a while. I know about the $2/mo for extra retainers, but I don't want an extra retainer. I need more storage on-to-go! I carry all my baits with me too and it takes up one inventory and it bothers me sometimes. It should be separate!

Totally agree. Off hand tackle box that can be levelled would be a huge bonus. I don't fish as much as I'd like to for that reason. Also really like the idea of an aquarium (really enjoyed that in ME) or maybe a pond for the house?

I wholeheartedly agree with the tackle box idea. It could be implemented like the animus books....they have their own inventory page. I would also like a fish tank and/or a trophy mount for the fc/personal housing. Hopefully if we keep posting we will get some feedback

I wonder how many pages this topic has to reach before SE makes an effort. I'm really sick of sacrificing inventory slots to bait.

I keep hoping for an answer as well.. i don't think it would be too hard to implement this into game either.. if they can make a bunch of useless glamour stuff i'm pretty sure they can make a 100% effective item for fisher. I mean they took away our spearfishing from 1.0 and left us with no OH whatsoever <<;

I'm always at full inventory carrying around food for multiple classes/potions, and so many baits.

Oh please please pleaseeeee give us a tackle box! Right now 2 pages of my on hand inventory space is full of stuff for fishing! Fishing is extremely on-the-go and at least for me, never planned.

Omg yes! i love that there is so many baits its so well done but the inventory that fishing takes + baits can really take up a lot or room, i really hope se does this^^;

Yes please se. I'm already spending money in extra retainers. The amount of bait is silly without a container. What is the purpose of an offhand slot with nothing in it?

This thread needing reviving, we still need this! I'm quite often not prepared to go fishing on the fly (cwatididthar) because I have to leave all my lures etc on a retainer, whereas if I had them with me not taking up precious inventory space I'd probably have tried to fish and had more success in the various areas (I want minimal assistance filling the fishing log)

Yes!!! Great idea, I'd love to be able to carry my bait around without filling my inventory. Fish take up enough space already.

Come on SE! Quit gimping the Fishers in this game. Most people who try fishing either really love it, or hate it. So why not reward the dedicated players with a tackle box strictly for bait purposes. Even if it's only available after reaching 50. There should be an incentive, and considering we're the only class without a secondary, it seems long overdue.

Looks like Japanese players are in agreement that we need a tackle box.
I'd love for SE to stop ignoring us fishers about this already :(

I think this thread will continue to grow until they either address the issue (because yes, it is an issue when half of your inventory is for one "small" job, with no secondary) or solve it by giving us a tackle box :)

This feature should have been implemented day 1. Would make the most sense to have it as an offhand item with its own storage space (min 25 slot).

I voted yes for this a couple pages back, but have since actually started working on levelling my fisher properly.

First, we have all the different Baits, tackles etc taking up their own space.
Then, we have all the differing types of fish we catch taking up more space.

Please, give us some space-saving options. Filling half my inventory with items for a gathering I'm levelling without any real reason to do so, just isn't on.

Even if it just keeps tackle and not fishes, or just gives a bit more of gathering / perception, a secondary tool would be great.

For the fish you don't plan on selling/cooking you can always desynth. Helps free up space on the fly while also putting them to good use.

Just imagine if paladins had to keep 40 shields, and keep them in their inventory.

I deffinatly support this a tackle box would be a great option for all of us fishers no stats needed just some were to put our bait.

The idea for a tackle box is nice - and I'm all for it. But it doesn't even need to be in the "off-hand" slot - just make it another inventory page/tab, like we have for crystals, but designate it for bait & tackle.
