just because i am not wearing better gear then what drops in a dungeon run doesnt mean i dont have better gear, it could just mean im spiritbonding crappy gear atm

so yeah, im in your party wearing crappy gear and rolling NEED on drops that are for my current class (so i can turn them in for seals and sell on AH for gil for repairs and crafting mats) but i STILL HAVE BETTER GEAR

and by the way, THERE IS NO PROBLEM, since if you want to be able to roll NEED on gear for the class, all you need do is RUN THE DUNGEONS AS THE CLASS YOU WANT THE GEAR FOR...you know, kinda like the LOOT RULES are set up for??

I loled when I saw all the selfish people claim that they should be able to need to turn items in for GC seals. That is proof enough that you are completely ridiculously selfish. The highest amount of seals you get for dungeon loot is under 200 seals per item. 40+ Fates give you over 200 seals per fate. So basically you are saying that you need the seals but the dismal amount you get for taking gear someone else could use as an upgrade even though anyone at lvl 50 will tell you seals are a joke and just accumulate anyways is you not being selfish? I think the title of this post needs to be people need to stop being selfish idiots because anyone taking gear that someone else can use as an upgrade for a worthless amount of seals is an idiot.

As for the I can use it for another class argument, that falls within the lines of lvling an alt does in other MMOs, it does not take priority over someone whose playing the class that can use it as an actual upgrade. So this still qualifies you as a selfish idiot.

I personally try and pass on anything that I don't see myself ever using, it takes up space in my armory inventory and I'm capped on GC seals so pointless to turn anything in.

The amount of people here lacking common curtsey is truly sad. And you wonder why people complain about a toxic community.

its not courteous to join a dungeon group that ALREADY has loot rules in place for everyone who joined and then demand everyone use YOUR loot rules instead and insult them if they dont want to

Ok so I have a level 50 and Im leveling War atm and you want me to pass on gear that is meant for a Tank for another player to greed on it thats makes no sense at all to me. Like I said if I can Need on it you damn well bet Im going to Need. Why the hell do I need to pass or greed for a damn healer or BLM on tanking gear, it doesnt matter what Im going to do with it sell, trade it, or convert it Im the Tank and its tanking gear Need it is.

I understand that reading a thread and getting the point can be difficult because of words and all so let me sum it up for you. They are not complaining about people needing and taking loot over people that can only greed it because it doesn't apply to them. They are complaining about people needing gear that is clearly lower level then they are when there is another person in the group that actually NEEDS that gear for the class they are running the dungeon with. Now if you are running a lower level dungeon than your level and tank gear drops and you roll need and win it over the tank that it is an upgrade for, you are a prick, bottom line. Even though that would be a more rare case for this situation because 1 tank and class restrictions on gear. This would happen more often with dps like a 50 blm running lower level instances as blm and rolling need on gear just because, even though it is a downgrade while the blm that is running it as he is leveling and could use the upgrades gets the shaft. Rolling need just because you can roll need is retarded and people like you should be shunned.

Looks like you the one with the reading problem, Since they are complaining about people with higher level gear being ME the Tank rolling Need on gear that is lower level then the gear I am wearing. Also, they are complaining about me using said gear to make Materia and others using the gear to trade in for Seals. They want me, the only Tank to roll greed or pass the Tank gear that is lower then my gear I am wearing and give them a chance to rolling greed also. You should look at every post instead of trying to single out one especially mines because I have that get back.
