Part 33 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we head back to Ul'Dah to catch up with our main storyline quest, which has recently become available to us once again. We visit Momodi in the Adventurers Guild who asks us to head to Frondale's Phrontistery, where we are greeted by an alchemist named Damielliot, but before we can ask him the whereabouts of F'lhaminn he runs off claiming he has taken ill. We eventually find her, along with Niellefresne and his companions, as more of this twisting story unfolds - leading us on a journey to Camp Black Brush and the discovery of plans for the use of some very dark arts..

Love the videos, it's awesome to listen to someone as enthusiastic as you are! Will keep watching and enjoying. Been thinking of getting back into the game and listening and watch you makes me want to even more. Great stuff, keep up the great work!

Finally decided to watch one of your shows, they're pretty cool! Man i wish my uldah looked like your uldah. Im on Besaid and it seems kinda dead for me :(

Part 36 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we take on a quest given to us by our mentor, Momodi, which sees us teleporting to Camp Black Brush in order to hunt for Nutgrabber Marmots to the northeast which are known to carry Slumber Nuts. Needed by Frondale's Phrontistery who are being overrun by sleep-deprived patients, we collect enough of these nuts and take them back to Kukusi who seems very grateful for our work. We then find our way to the Wellhead Lift and the Highwind Aeronautics up top, where we catch ourselves an airship to Limsa Lominsa so that we may seek out a ship named 'The Astalicia' and speak with one of her crew named Hasthwab..

Hi All, Just a quick note to let my Final Fantasy XIV viewers know that there's going to be a delay bringing you new episodes.

I've been trying to activate my account since the subscription fee has been reintroduced, and I'm having no luck. The payment system is an utter abomination, and account support is even worse in my experience so far.

There will be no more FFXIV episodes until further notice. Square Enix's payment system strikes once again.. sorry folks.

In this episode we finally manage to get back online, post subscription issues, and pick up our series once again. Our first order of the day is to check in upon the most recent patch changes to the game, including some UI updates, the Actions and Traits screen, and the new Achievement system, before we take a wander around Ul'dah to ogle at some of the player armors on display. We then pick up on one of our quests which sees us teleporting to Limsa Lominsa in order to pay visits to a number of guards stationed around the city..

In this episode we begin in Limsa Lominsa where we check out the detail inside the Culinarian's Guild, before heading to the Adventurers Guild to pick up some Battlecraft Leves, to allow ourselves some long overdue combat. We then teleport straight to Camp Skull Valley and take on a 1-Star Leve to warm ourselves up, before progressively working through our journal, increasing the difficulty each time..

In this episode we decide to get back to some crafting, as requested by a number of viewers, so we head to Camp Black Bush and prepare ourselves for the task. We begin with some Weaving as we're asked to produce Dated Hempen Chausses, and then shift our role to that of a Culinarian to cook some Flatbread. Once we've completed those we decide to round off the episode by working on our remaining Regional Levequest which requires us to cook 12 Salt Cod dishes.

For the first time in our Let's Play series, we pick up some Battlecraft Leves from the Gridanian Adventurers Guild and make our way out into the lush forest surrounds to test our mettle. We start out by testing the waters with an easy task, and then take on a higher level leve to see if we've got what it takes to survive..

In this episode we stay in the beautiful lush lands of Gridania as we take a look at some of our Gathering professions. We head straight to the Adventurer's Guild where we pick up some Fieldcraft Leves, specifically Botany and Mining ones, and then run through the forest as we make our way to Camp Bentbranch to the South. We initiate a Leve called 'Logging Bentbranch' which sees us having to search for three logging points, and has us refreshing our memory about how to log trees as a Botanist..

In this episode we begin at the beautiful Aetheryte Plaza in the heart of Gridania as we begin our mission to find ourselves a secondary Botanist tool in order to explore the herb-gathering activities within the game. we decide to head towards the Botanist's Guild named 'Greatloam Growery', where we eventually find what we're looking for at a bargain price, and so we head out into the lush rainforest wilderness to try out our new Scythe. Once we've found a suitable harvesting spot, we test our reaping abilities by utilizing this new tool and discovering exactly how the skill of Harvestng works, and what it yeilds..

Nice videos, I stumbled across this and decided to buy the game.

We're playing post-patch 1.21, which has brought about an enormous amount of welcome changes, so we make the most of the knowledge and experience of our guests to begin taking a look at some of the changes. Of particular note, Pico and Seyo show us a technique for rapidly gaining combat levels, as well as getting to see their very special mounts that have recently become available in the game..

In this episode we begin inside our Inn Room, where we now gather rested experience, as we do a quick check of our stat points and gear, before teleporting to Uldah to pick up some Level 20 Battlecraft Levequests. Once we arrive in Camp Horizon we discover on of the leves (named 'Threading The Needles') involves battling one of the most iconic Final Fantasy mobs in the game - the famous Cactuar. We head out to battle, not knowing whether or not we'll survive this high-level challenge..

In this episode we begin in the grand city of Ul'dah as we meet up with one of our viewers named 'Jinrya Geki', before teleporting to Limsa Lominsa so we can take a look at the process involved with being able to acquire a room at an Inn to rest when logging out. Once we've completed our task, we teleport to Camp Horizon in the Thanalan Desert to take on a slightly tougher Levequest than we attempted last week. This time we're on the lookout for some disguised Firestarter Imps and Wisp Familiars, which do indeed turn out to be tougher than expected..

Part 47 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we're joined by Seyo Meyo as we head to Camp Horizon in the Thanalan Desert, to try our luck with a higher level Levequest. We opt to go for a 4-star difficulty and head out to our mark where we're charged with taking down 5 Amateur Footpads and 5 Amateur Raiders. Once we begin combat we quickly realise that it's going to be a real challenge, and that 4 starts make a huge difference to the difficulty. We just manage to scrape through before heading West to The Coffer & Coffin, an inn frequented by trade caravans, where we are greeted by a surprise gathering, and where we then depart as we head off towards our final destination of the Ferry Docks in the far West..

I just want to say thank you so much for these videos. It was these that convinced me to try out the game. It's truly beautiful and fun to play.
I'm a complete n00b to MMO's, and I'm a painfully shy person, so I'm really struggling to talk to people for help in game. But your video's helped me so much so far.
Keep up the brilliant work, and I can't wait to see more vids soon ^__^
