I have to admit this is getting a bit too ridiculous. It seems as though everybody who logs out is going to get 3102 seeing as I just got locked out, decided to spend my time waiting creating a new character to pass the time and managed to actually log it on much to my surprise. Logged out to get back onto my main character and wouldn't you know it - locked out again! I'm sure SE will fix this but like I said this is getting a bit too far now. Literally problem after problem and none of them are small, and I'm usually defending them in this situation.
I logged in when I got up just to see if I could log in on the first try, which was successful!

Well, now seems like a good time to beat Pikmin 3.
Seriously this is too much to handle.. the game is great and all but what the point when u can't even login to enjoy more than 1hr of gameplay before getting dc and get stuck with the famous 3102 ERROR!!..

Ok so I logged out 2 hours ago. Now 3102, but on JP server I get 1017.
I'm going to endure it, trust them to fix it as best they can and just continue play as is possible. Just like any rational, mature person would.
The most ironic part is that this is likely keeping people "logged in" on the server end, even though we are disconnecting our clients. So the servers are probably remaining falsely congested...
This is bullshit, so many errors for a game run by a big company, I thought this past patch would fix the majority of issues but apparently not. I'm sincerely considering just finding another mmo to play in the near future and leaving this game, its leaving a sour taste in my mouth after convincing so many friends to get it and this game representing itself in a horrible way.

It's neither "rational" nor "mature" to continue making excuses for a AAA developer who has failed for over a week now to successfully launch a product.
That's called being a hopelessly complacent apologist.
Remember, this fix was only launched this week because they had to spend all that time "testing it internally". So, there really are no excuses at this point.
Now, I know you and others will find excuses for it (you always do). I'm just saying, in the real world, there actually aren't any.

Try to create a char on a Jp server, after logging that jp char out try to relog on you main NA char.... it has worked for me every time in the past.
The game is good, too bad you can't play it! GG SE slowly losing those numbers. "No worries guys, once they lost more subs you will be able to login just fine ;D"
I've got the same error 3102...ffs. Logged out to swap Pcs and this happened grrrr...

I logged in fine this morning around 6am cst and now trying to relog and I get the 3102 code too. tried a couple more times and now I can not see the NA/EU servers either
I think people here are forgetting the part where Yoshi specifically said that once this maintenance was done and data center expanded with more servers that there could be issues at first. All they have to do is work out these errors again like they did before and everything should be fine.
The only problems that have been facing the game since beta was the errors and server space. They have added new servers before, and ironically every time they do the 3102 error and other errors start, then they fix it and everything is fine. Prior to this maintenance the only issues and errors were related to max capacity, which isn't an issue now after expanding. So once these errors are fixed again everything should be fine unless max capacity is reached again for the new servers.

Crashed about 2 hours ago due to another program running at the same time as FFXIV:ARR and haven't been able to get in since.
Come on, SE. 3021 shouldn't be occurring for people who either logged out normally and for people who left the game hours ago for whatever reason.
I had a post on here about the error, but I took someones advice that said they got back in. Restart comp, reset Modem. Wait 5mins grab some coffee, and *MAGIC* I'm in again ;D

Me and my WHM just R0'd in Ifrit and dc'd, no one else did. Attempted to log back in and encountered lobby issues, Start button was grey'd out, and now I'm 3102'd again.

I've had this error for over an hour now. Now that people actual thought logging out might be okay, SE slaps 3102 errors not letting anyone back in? It's very difficult not to get frustrated at this point.

1) Someone complaining (rightfully) about what can only be described as a horrible product launch is not "ruining anyone else's experience" - unless you let it.. In which case it's your problem, not theirs. There is the option of simply not reading others' posts, if you're so easily affected by others saying things you don't like.
2) I have been unable to log in since Beta 4. Literally. I've paid for a product I've been unable to use for at least 2 weeks now. Patience has nothing to do with it at this point. I crossed that line after day 6.
If you're happy to deal with on-going poor service, then by all means... have at it.
I prefer to maintain my dignity and not behave like a complacent little apologist, just so I can pat myself on the back on message forums over "how patient I am!", while "tut-tut'ing" those who aren't as willing to simply bend over and accept any crappy service they're given.
