When you see a kid fall off his bike and you try to find your cure....;)

when the game in in maintenance and you spend 3 hours on the forums instead of going outside.

While walking down the street you find yourself looking for sparkles in trees to gather material.

When you can't play FFXIV too much because the servers are down or erroring so much that you can't progress.

That's actually my excuse for not cooking. "Sorry dear. My cooking class is still at zero."

It's entertaining because he went to chef school, and I am legitimately awful at cooking.

When you're running, expecting to run the same speed forever, then think the server is crashing because you're slowing down and getting tired.

I logged in at 5pm yesterday and logged out at 2am...

I justify it by saying I'm just catching up to my 1.0 friends. :-P

You don't play...

When you're at work and someone asks you for a hand and you mutter "1017" to them under your breath...

...when you're at work on the night shift and you look at the clock to see if its any closer to time to go home and the only numbers you see are "1017"

You know you play too much FFXIV when....YOU CAN'T PLAY THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you hum the chocobo music while driving.

When you get in and out of bed like your character does in the inn rooms.

When you go to the super market and dont see any lallafel flesh on sale in the meat department. MMMMM lallafell flesh /drools

When you start seriously considering/planning for/mapping out tattoos of characters/summons/guardian forces all up and down your arms and legs

Although this is more of a FF in general thing, project been in the works since middle school :p

When you imagine using rage of halone on your boss.

When you are driving down the road and you swear you saw a hunting log symbal over that deer's head

I play too much of 0 button online...

When your wife/husband asks you to cook dinner and you respond back with, "I'm out of fire shards"
