In a nut shell, i'm looking to build an FC that centers around community, helping one, another new and experienced.

@CrisGer -- I saw your response on another thread of mine about FC that help newer players. I'd be willing to transfer to your server if you wanted to actually start a FC filled with like minded people. I think it is really hard to find groups of people who will take time out of their own leveling to help others overcome their story mode dungeons. But as I tell most of the FC I join and/or preview, what else is a FC really for other than to have friends to run dungeons with so you don't have to use the Duty Finder... ^_^v Just let me know via reply here :)

MirielleLavandre that would be lovely and lots of fun i am sure. I havent started a FC before but i am sure we could do it and have fun, just need four people i think. the Kujata community is very nice, it is in Japan and people are very freindly and courteous, and there are english speaking players there too. I would love to have some friends to run dungeons with it is a bit tough to have to trust the luck of the draw sometimes it is fine and sometimes no one says anything at all :) I can play any time as i am at home all the time, and live in Colorado MDT but really any time is fine with me.

This is my first major MMO that I have really been deeply into, and i also love to help others and have fun, and share the wonderful story of this game. I have this main character levelled up to 35 but am working up thru the dungeons which i delayed as i was shy and afraid to mess them up for others. Just about to do the 1000 Maws.

anyway, if it works for you and we can get others to join it could be fun, but as I said i havent started a FC or been in one before so will have to study up. I wish we could PM in this forum but i guess if we meet up in the game i can give you an e mail to message to me to, just send me a friend request if you do transfer and are in the game... i am usually on in evenings and during the day at times too. :)

just for the info as I was told this t'other day.. starting a FC takes 4 signers AND 15,000 gil. Takes a chunk of work to get that gil if you're new to the game.

I could probably help you with the money to start one, but have you considered moving to an NA/EU based server since you're in the US? I could also transfer to whatever server you wanted to go to in order to start a FC that helps new players, and if we got 2 more maybe it would work out and we'd all play/run dungeons together ^_^v

Adding onto the Balmung List, for those rookies who are also RPers, there is also the Garden Network, a Free Company triad *very* loosely based on the Gardens from FFVIII. It is extremely newbie-friendly as new members usually start out as "new students" anyway. To us, there's no real difference between being a new player trying to learn the ropes of the game and a new adventurer learning what it means to be an adventurer in the land of Eorzea. We're originally from FFXIV but have played other MMOs as well (WoW, SW Galaxies, ToR, etc.)

Key with us is that we're friendly, close-knit, somewhat relaxed (but still proactive) and span different parts of the day. There's usually 2-3 of us on at any given time and we're hoping to improve that.
