Well I have two EU codes I'd like to trade for US ones... msg me and we can skype to do the exchange
Where did you get this information? I have two dysfunctional preorder and early access EU codes from GMG, which led to me to pre-order in Amazon to finally get appropriate NA ones. After which, I cancelled the amazon preorder after registering an NA early access from it. Now, I'm banking on the real game code (when the game launches) to be region-free, not like this crap happening for the early access.
I think I have a spare NA code, I'm EU region and one of my codes kept giving me an incompatible region message.
I have an EU PC code.
Email me at natb50@gmail.com if you want to trade.
Thanks to Tora I now have a spare EU PC code if anyone needs.
me please damon.k01@gmail.com
I admire the trust you guys have for eachother.
It is a bloody shame that SQUARE ENIX's staff won't act and correct this.
This is turning up to be one hell of a negative customer support review.
OMG thanks to Riyo i now have an EU code!! now i have a NA spare ...
thank alot again!!!
any1 need NA
can i have it sir? pls? rafaelbaldisimo@yahoo.com tnx.
Hi djrdo! I just read somewhere that GMG is giving out a region-locked game code upon release. Now, I'm desperate for a real trade, and not the amazon trick I just pulled. Mind if I can get one? I actually need two. The other one is for my wife.
If anyone has a spare (NA) PC 20-digit early access code, I can give you my (EA) one. Cheers. This is a nightmare..

Hate to be Debbie Downer here but we are probably going to face this all over again after release for the retail code. :(
Someone mentioned for 1.0 the codes were
RBWU <- US
RBWE <- Europe/Rest of The World
so it's a good bet the 2.0 codes will be too.
I hope the retail codes come straight from the retailer and are not tied to the 20 digit pre-access code, because I suspect a lot of pre-access codes have been generated from cancelled orders... A lot of people will be burned otherwise, because they would have paid for a key that they gave away, and been given a key that will be cancelled because it wasn't paid for.
Really cannot understand why SqEx are so inflexible about these darn region codes - I know they want to apportion purchases towards the appropriate support centers but this is creating such a nightmare for so many customers!! I bet SqEx Japan is blissfully unaware of all these problems... or maybe they know but don't care... :(
@Eder I agree with what you said. People have been trading their 18-digit (pre-order) that leads to a 20-digit (early access) codes to each other. I just realized something.
The retail code (game code that they will give out on the 27th, release date), will also be region locked, based on some threads that I have read around the forums.
There will be mass trading again of retail codes IF the 20-digit early access code is not tied to the account.
What's worse is that people who might have traded NA codes that might have been acquired via the Amazon pre-order cancelling trick for EU codes unwillingly acquired from GMG will get into trouble.
Dang...I just sent you my EU Early Access Code. I trust you won't use it, but if you happen to have a spare un-used NA code. I definitely could use it. Also, congrats.
