Early Access & Account issues (PS3)

I finally got a code, but when I enter it it's invalid. Argh.

What I'd like to know is, can I still get it on PSN even though my pre-order code from Amazon registered the game to my Square Enix members page?

I was told you can only have one copy of the game registered to your Square Enix account per platform, and even though my PS3 redeem code isn't working it shows PS3 ARR as registered on my Square-enix.com account. What happens on the 24th when I have to link my PSN and SE account? Will it tell me I already have that game registered?

So it seems Gamestop had/has some backup codes.....got a new 6-3-6-3 from them and it worked lovely....no error 3 or invalidness and what not, all i had to do was go down and pick it up from the physical shop. So folk who ordered from gamestop with this issue maybe give em a call and see if they can hook you up with a new code.

I didn't pre order from GameStop I preordered from Amazon.

Does anyone hae any fixes? I'm seriously tired of waiting. SE isn't doing anything.

My code is invalid as well. I received two separate emails from square enix with my 12 digit code. At the bottom of the email it had a UK address and in the second email it had a california address at the bottom. My code still doesnt work :(

Hmm, when I tried my code again, on PSN, it said "This service is under Maintenance"

Yes PSN is under maintenance right now.

6 hour PSN maintenance today :(

SEN is now under maintenance but it doesn't matter as long as we keep getting the same useless code.

Do we know if it is scheduled maintenance? First I saw anything about it was yesterday evening. Maybe they are going to be changing PSN code regions for Early Access.

My story thus far:
recived 12 digit code in email from london. psn says its invalid
Submitted ticket
Was told in email to resubmit the preorder code from amazon and ticket was closed
put code in got same 12 digit code that does not work
Tried live support waited 4 hours to be told they are investigating it and to watch twitter.
Recived same 12 digit code in email this time from california. psn says its invalid
Recived same code a third time from california and surprise still invalid.

I think SE is mocking me now

all this as a error 3102 victim on top of that. I almost want to cancel my preorder for fear of this same shit happening when I try and register it.

They haven't tweeted anything on their Twitter account since early yesterday morning. :/

I don't have a EU code, but I'm still getting the invalid error on PSN. Does anyone else have an NA code that doesn't work?

I'm not sure what region my code is.

Linking to PSN happens on the launcher when the server is up, I believe. So yes you can still get it vian PSN instead and not have to worry about any more codes. I'm also getting tempted to do that tbh if only I don't want the Physical CE items so badly.

if you want to check to see if you have a eu code you can always make a UK psn account and plug the code in. You can always cancel the code before you agree to redeem it

I guess I might as well do this because I was planning maybe still on the fence to pay the $20 to upgrade for the CE digital content.

Why can't they just put out an APB saying specifically "PS3 USERS. WE ARE WORKING ON THIS. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PANIC AND BUY THE PSN VERSION."

Even though I already panicked and bought the psn version. But now i'm slightly worried I won't be able to link it properly.

Well can't do that until maintenance is done.

if that eventually works thats awesome, but there is a problem after like 20 or so tries to enter codes and failing, sony redemption will lock you account for 24 hours

I hope your guys will be able to make it work, took me 30 hrs + to be able to finally get my second code and register for early access. Good luck!

A friend registered the code on psn, and dwnloaded the client again, cancelling the old one. He turned on the PS3 and this happened : a system error has occurred -2147309046 and another error saying cannot launch ff14 and please register the code bla bla. But he already did. Tips?

It seems the PSN is still undergoing maintenance. With any luck, our codes might actually work after the update. Not holding my breath, though :P

To anyone who may have been bugging out about not being able to link to a PSN digital purchase after trying to unlock a physical EA code, you can do it. Now... to call amazon and cancel the pre-order... or to list it on ebay for profits....

From the client on the PS3. You can do it now even though the PSN is under maintenance. It only applies to the store, and not to games.

Also, anyone who is worried about seeing their alts listed and not their main. I'm 99% sure it lists the characters that are on the first server on the list. If you made a character on a JP server during beta, you are going to see them listed first.

Where did you link your account from? Square-enix.com, or PS3?

Edit: Thanks! I'll have to wait for the store to come back online before I can purchase mine. Going to test my 12 digit code one more time then probably post back here depending on what happens. Wish SE would update us! D:

My account only showed 3 characters made on 2 different JP servers, none of the original NA server characters showed up.

I'm going to be trying again when PSN comes back. Still need to wait two and a half hours to do so though.

This is whats going on
The point that most people are making is that, this isn't occuring even after we link the accounts. I've launched the PS3 version, gone through the whole linking process, watched as the mog cap and cait sith minion was manually added to my 1.0 service account that included the Windows version, the windows beta, and the PS3 beta, and yet I still can only log into the Ps3 version and not the PC version. Using the same credentials for each version, I get a completely different message(wait until EA or no active service account).

my eu code still does not work. Square would have to reissue us PSN codes since i see no way that they can just flip a switch to make working codes change region

I hade the same problem with the error code 800 something I I jus finally gave up on it fixing and jus preorder it on the psn store as soon as I bought It the download came but I Didn't download cuz I had beta phase 4 already so I launched my client from ps3 for phase 4 it patched my game then it gave me the option to but all the stuff on like the cath sith doll and mog cap. After all that it patched and said wait for EA or launch. But I pre ordered my CE on July so now I jus left the code without bothering to put it in anymore. I guess if ur fed up with the code not working jus pre order it from psn store and cancel ur pre order wit the code or keep I guess.. Hope this helps :)
