Bumping this thread because I can't make a new one...
So... How are things? Everybody having a good time? I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get online last evening around 2000; my calendar still said it was the 26th, but I guess it was already the 27th in other parts of the world. Hurray for time zones! I spent the next three hours doing beginner-level quests and filling out my gladiator's hunting log. For a minute I felt kind of bad mercilessly slaying level 1 mobs in the starter areas, but then reminded myself that this isn't FFXI - there are plenty of things for everybody to kill.
So far I've been enjoying the game, even though I don't have a lot of time to play. My lunch break is over, and I have another 7-8 hours of work left, so we'll see how much time I have to play this evening. That's the hazard of being a responsible adult, I guess. -
