And my guess was wrong (22nd, at conclusion of live letter), but there are no hard feelings or remorse. :)
It's too bad, we won't be able to go to Uldah or Limsa yet :( but I'm ok with trying that new raid :D
I sense we will see more than enough of people making posts stating this... I'm going to start a drinking game. Take a shot everytime this is posted... (for those of you under the legal drinking age who want to play, i suggest you eat a jalapeno pepper each time you see this posted, and for those of you under the legal drinking age who want to play but have a higher tolerance on the Scoville scale, go for ghost peppers :P)
hey guys!! I have a question..>.>
On the lodestone thingie it says: "Beta tester acceptance e-mails are already on their way, so keep an eye out for your summons."
Has anyone got theirs? Or am I just dumb...I have not gotten mines yet ;~;
No email here yet either, they may just be sending them out in spurts or someone forgot to push the "Send" button!
Yay, we get to fight Bayohne and Foxclon in FATE!
no email here yet either... This is going to make not work well today going to have to keep checking email between doing things I should be doing.
I would agree with you if the Beta was ultra smooth with no hiccups. However I really feel like they should take all the time they need to fix bugs and or change mechanics that the public does not like. I want to play ARR as much as the next guy, but I don't want to have to worry about ARR becoming free to play 6 months after launch.
I hope they stagger the e-mails or the client download servers are going to be slammed really bad.
I think the benchmark will be released after the live Letter on the 22nd. End of the show surprise.
I really look forward to messing with the new creation options on the new genders.
Also, that dungeon looks neat.
Just waiting for my e-mail and beta forums so I can get away from you non-legacy commoners.
You know, I'm sure there will be people annoyed that it's even later than our more conservative predictions... but I'm just happy to have an exact date.
Thanks for the update, Yoshi-P! And it's good to see screenshots of GLA and what looks like THM, not to mention the beautiful dungeon. I don't think XI has a haunted mansion or whatever that is, so it's a welcome addition.

Life. Dreams. Roegaboobs. Where do they come from? And where do they go? Dat rack... I must have it!
Excuse my ignorance, but how do you guys know it is Haukke Manor? And where has this name been or has it been mentioned before?
ahhhh thanks!
Well that new dungeon does look nice. And well I am interested in seeing how they will make it work, so that all the new races, mobs, places etc appeard in just 5 years?
I hope that there is lore, story and quests that explain for example
Why are there now succubus
Why are there now adamantoises, gollums, iron giants, and all these new places
What do you guys think?
Who the hell cares what either of your consider a delay. It has a date now. Let's be happy and put our testing caps on.
Happy early birthday indeed!
Guildhest is just as awkward-sounding for Americans. It's sort of typical of Japanese pop culture to fuse or alter western words. Dressphere? Materia? Blitzball? Magicite? Manufacted Nethicite? Guildleve? Cactuar!? All of it sounded kinda weird at first, but I hope we'll get used to the word "Guildhest". I don't see why they couldn't just call them Guild Behests, though.
As for the system, I wonder if crafters will be able to participate.
Apparently Yoshi-P giving us a beta date summoned down the real life Meteor o.O

Who wants to go Bahamut hunting in Russia?? (seriously the shockwave from that thing was loud enough to be his roar, blowing out the glass from windows, just check the videos in the article!)
