6565 score with:

gtx 680
i7 - 3930k
16GB RAM
2 SSD in RAID 0

so maybe with 2 680? lol if the SLi benchmarks right even.

That is pretty good.

I still have a gen 1 i7 which i think is holding down my score. I think it was 58xx but didn't write it down.

You need to overclock your Intel CPU if you want to hit 8k with old benchmark.

High res single GTX 680 slightly overclocked with 3930k overclocked to 4.5 Ghz, 2400 Mhz memory.

Actually 10k was hit over two years ago, however it was expensive.

CPU performance hasn't changed drastically since then. What has changed is we can hit 8k high res with a single GPU now. Back then it was hard breaking 5k with a single GPU, AMD 5870 is around 5k high res provided you have enough CPU power.

It's crazy how cpu driven that was. According to that sheet I should be able to pull mid 6k though.

Ya it's CPU crazy, keep in mind that the benchmark has no AA and it's it was standard quality. My frame rate ranges around from 90-180 FPS on average closer to 180 FPS.

Man i have a i7 3770k OC to 4.2GHz with SLI GTX 670 FTW edition and i still dont hit 8k on high but i think SLI only work on fullscreen mode ? maybe anyone can correct me there?

Wow, I have a i7 3930k overclocked to 4.0 Ghz, GTX 680, and ram speed of 1600 Mhz.
Low res was 8582
High res was 7387

I'm scared to overclock my computer anymore because I don't want it to overheat. Pluse I'm still fine-tuning my computer.
Any advice you can share? :)

I hope Yoshi's media tour will help promote the game well. I really want this game to do great!

I hope it won't upset the devs too terribly that I will probably not be buying a new graphics card for their new benchmark. :) I'll have to get my specs when I get back home, my computer's probably a dinosaur now despite not burning through half its storage memory.

That CPU over clocks well, but it best to use a good cooler. I have a Corsair H80i cooler. When overclocking I run Real temp and Prime95 that puts 100% load on all cores. I do overclocking in increments making sure the temperature remains in check for each increment.

My current clock speed is 4.7 Ghz and 1.35 voltage.

I try to keep the voltage as low as possible because higher voltages creates a lot of heat. That voltage the works for my CPU might not work for yours. You may have to increase to add stability.

ya I haven't bothered overclocking my 3930 yet, I was lazy, I overclocked my 970 to 4.2 on air, I have the corsair H80i on this too so I can probably get it pretty good... just haven't bothered I probably will before release or after..

It will probably work, however it's not the best cooler I see from reviews so you may be limited on how high you can go.

If you google overclocking guides with that motherboard you probably can find details what you can set.

I have ASUS Rampage IV gene, which should have a similar bios. I overclock manually because some auto overclocks weren't that stable and seem to set a higher voltage then what was needed.

The hairstyles look nice on the Elezen and Lalafell. I'm ok with races sharing hairstyles as long as it's done in good taste aka not every hairstyle will look good on another race. SE seems to be doing a good job so far in which ones are shared.

I never quite understood when people complained about Elezen proportions. They're looking at it from a human's point of view! The Elezen are probably looking at us and going "Ew their necks are so short!" xD

Also, benchmark screens are looking great. Can't wait!

My take on the information given is that the beta may start when he is on travel, we might get a short letter on the 9th or even while he's in his trip to announce the starting date, then show the live beta in his trip, allowing the press and whoever to have a feel of the game with players and all doing player stuff.

And the live letter V will be while having the beta live too or something... probably.

Does it make sense?

I dunno I still have hopes for next week for Beta lol... was guessing more like next live letter going to be like the 4th where alpha was already ongoign and they showed live scene of alpha while doing the live letter. Show beta live footage while the live letter going on :)

At least that's what I'm hoping for, but could be week after. Either way it's definitely really close now. :) Can't wait!

I didn't see your post till now. I seen i7 3770k break 8k it may need to be clocked slightly higher than 4.2 Ghz. Ya you would need to use fullscreen dll(google Ff14bfull-100618.Zip). A single GTX 670 doesn't break 8k in high res.

I think they need to siphon some of that females bust size into her head.

Right, benchmark is so small that a SSD makes no difference.

Out of curiosity, I disabled Surround (since I have 3 monitors) and ran the High Res benchmark again and scored a 6177

I don't think your getting anything from the sli? looks like just the one card is doing it all? maybe Pseudopsia can chime in here?

Those are GTX 660, so SLI is definitely working. I don't expect a single GTX 660 to do more then 4k in high res. CPU isn't overclock so this is hindering the score from going even higher.

What I'm gaining is the ability to have the game span 3 monitors, which what I care about. I'm fairly certain the benchmark never shows any benefit from SLi.

I just didn't think SLI did anything for that benchmark. Or you have to be running it in non windowed mode or something?

Full screen dll is required to get SLI to work right, you don't get accurate scores in windowed mode.
