I'm re-rolling. I really feel that I didn't get to have the "experience" in xiv that I had in xi, there wasn't constant partying, the community wasn't what it could be. I'll keep my character, but me and my family will be starting new, on a server that is new so no others will be starting as 50's.
I've been torn on this for a while and I've still not come to a good solid decision. On one hand, I busted my ass to get the jobs up to 50 that I did, finishing WHM 3 days before the final save. On the other hand, I'm so very itching to see if/how any of the job quests are different. I'll not be ditching my girl, but I'll probably have a secondary just to see everything new.
Reroll mostly old character on occasion
I'll be re-rolling and keeping my 1.0 character as mule, or for playing high level content until the new character surpasses it. :) I can't just trash Ciel, or do any major change such as gender or race change to her, but I'm not willing to be playing a female character in ARR either. So it's both, for me.
I came back near the end, so I've really just got a lv47 CNJ(got to 50 that final week). Which I started playing cus it had that BLM feel. When I came back poof I'm a WHM( I'm sure you've all heard that story before). I fell deeply in love with the game in the final days, the atmosphere was awesome.
The most fun I had with ffxi tho was beta testing on 360. The game was huge and there were no lv75s(compared to launch which didnt seem so big). Alot of peps didnt know what to do or where to go, I'm hoping 2.0 recaptures some of that feeling. So its reroll on a fresh server for me and my wench.
Boo will be getting a makeover for sure.
I'll be giving Sophia a makeover but I will never re roll I have invested too much time and effort in her. I will make new alts to play around with however and work on them in between playing on my main.
