Meh it really depends in how good the character creator is, i loved the froegadyn concept art.

Im rolling a completely new character, lady roe most likely. I would urge as many people as possible to re-roll, its going to be more fun, you can still keep your old character for crafting if you don't fancy leveling that again.

Most likely not, but I do want to check out the new hairstyles before making a final decision.

My Highlander has a sort of Gannondorf forehead slopes right down into his nose thing.... Also I have red hair... Something about that bothers me so I'll probably pick Midlander if I can't change it.

I'm staying Lalafell for sure, so I'll only change if I see new options I like.

Sort of, maybe make Estelle's hair a bit pinker and change her voice if the selections are good for lalafell. In terms of hair style, well I'll wait and see if any of the newer ones take my fancy.

Though I admit, transforming her into a delicious female roegadyn would be both hilarious and awesome but it gives me flashbacks of a particular South Park episode; so chances are I'll just make her as an alt lol.

Gonna keep my main pretty close to what she was. One of my other catgirls will turn into a female roegadyn.

Definitely staying Lala, butswitching to dunesfolk and going for the darkest skin color I can find, maybe with some glowy-looking eyes to be more blm like :D

I don't know what I'll change into specifically, but it will sure be female this time! I can't wait to play with the char creator, it's my favorite part of starting a game.

I don't think I will be changing much. I was a Taru in FFXI and the pain of the getting stuck in bushes was a plan I did not want to experience in FFXIV. When I went Hyur, I was so much happier! I didn't appear to be drowning in the ocean that everyone could simply walk across it without being knee-deep. So yes, I will be staying Hyur, unless Viera comes out. ;p

Will be getting a larger bust size. >.>

I'm staying with my pale skin and white eyes. The thing I'll look into will be hairstyle. I'm quite happy with my Elvaan.

My Miqo'te will probably just get her voice, ears, and tail changed, and hair as well if there is a new longer style I like. I like her well enough as is, though.

I've never been completely happy with my Hyur though, so she'll become a male Miqo'te. Yes, another one. :p

I think I might change to a Sunseeker Miqo, and change my hair to white with red highlights. I would like my character to be more like the Okami from the game. Also will have a long tail and a bigger bust.

Probably some minor changes, depending what all is added. Will just have to wait and see, when i get to play with the new character creation choices. Until then can't say for sure.

I was going to go man'qote but now it seems everyone is doing it. That makes it less appealing to me for some reason.

One of them is going Man'qote, the other female lala.
Still haven't decided if I'm gonna gender-bend them or retain their current genders though.

I was actually considering switching to a follower of the sun miqote, but at the least i'd like to use a lighter skin tone. Hard to see her features in screenshots at night ^^

I had even considered gender switching to a male miqote myself (since I'm a RL guy) but then I'd probably just miss having my character be a female sooooo, probably not. Though , depending on how they look , a female Roegyngthingy(i don't know how to spell it, or for that matter almost anything in the game) might be an option.

I hope they have lore set up to explain the massive influx of Male Miqotes..

Maybe they came in droves from the Miqote homeland after the devastation of Bahamut to help rebuild, and many turned adventurers to make a living after the reconstruction was done.
Or they could just pretend like they were there all along, which is more likely.

although in FFXI i had light skin and black hair, i just did an invert thing, made up a story in my head where this IS my FFXI char, just back from the dead hence the demon-ish look XD

Onto the topic though. I'll most likely won't change anything about Ron. He'll remain the same old perverted elezen who chases after every woman he meets! (minus miqo'tes)

Honestly though, I'll most likely go with the highest build option and make him more muscular. I really like how he already looks and I tend to receive quite a few compliments on how he looks. Unless S-E happens to add an option to add a cross-shaped scar between his eyes.

i'm keeping my character the same and starting a new character to experience the new game.....its either going to be an Elvaan or Miqote Male

Getting a make over? Most likely not, only tweaks.
Unless I find an awesome combination with the numerous new possibilities the new character creator may offer, I'll stick to the same general appearance. As for the discrepancies between my new and old self, I blame the time rift.

If I can make it to the beta or earlier, I will try all other races though. Both as part of a personal experience and suggestion-making.

I plan to only change my hair style, everything else is perfect~
