Balmung was a great server =) I'm worried about the server selection process for ARR. will we be redistributed through servers and such? I'm going to be separated from many of my friends no doubt....

I have to agree with the OP. Well the game was initially launched in a horrible state and the content was pretty near non-existent, I have nothing but good memories of my time spent on Besaid/Balmung. And that was due entirely to the awesome people I met while playing 1.0. That can make all the difference in an MMO.
