And considering that XI and XIV are in the same world but very distant time eras...

This is probably the best video of this generation that SE has released. Agnis philosophy beats it but that's just cause its next gen. I salute thee SE, and this team, yoshida especially. This event was lacking, but this video made up for two years worth of a clunky game. Very nice job. Cannot wait for ARR :)

WoW is all I can say on that video, made up for the 2hr of craptastic server for me anyways. That makes me wish they would make a move out of that whole thing.

I am having a hard time thinking of a better cinematic that SE released so far.

Does anyone else feel stupid that none of us realized the similarity between Dalamud and Bahamut?

Also, Bahamut now explains the new instance, and the tower in Mor Dhona with the big dragon-creature statue at the top of it.

It also may vaguely explain the introduction of summoners in 2.0.

It seems as though Louisoix, having failed at binding Bahamut with the assistance of the faith presented to the twelve, warped all the fighters away, but may have died himself... or maybe he warped at the last minute.

I hereby dub Louisox "Bro-metheus", progenitor of the bros.

Was anyone else happy to see the copy/paste landscape destroyed?

I could not stop shaking after watching this video. Louisoix's face before he was consumed just brought tears to my eyes. Very well done SE, very well done.

I don't know, looking at him after he transported the party away from the fire, he smiled and fade away meaning he's happy he got those heroes from getting burnt to ashes. He faded most likely he's gone or he...teleported away too...? lol...

loved that ending vid ...good job devs on it. now get back to making me some large scale endgame bitches.

I cried. That was the most beautiful video they could possibly have made.

I think that statue thing in mor dhona was bahamans woman, so he was pissed and frusterated.

3:30 AM here.. I was going to watch trailer and get a few ZzZz's before the Live Letter... NOT ANYMORE!!! My adrenaline is pumping lol!!

That did cross my mind. Here's the breakdown as I thought:

Dalamud.

Dahamud..

Dahamut...

Bahamut....

that was amazing O.O im thrilled now :)) made up for the failed event.

All i can say is... wow... that was the best cut scene i've ever seen in any game ever. Bravo SE Bravo. I don't think i'll be able to sleep tonight now.

Such a masterpiece.

SE successfully painted the feeling of hopelessness, the soundtrack was amazing, too. (Great use of the in game music we've been hearing the past few days.) It was nice to see all our favorite NPCs come together in the final hour, i especially enjoyed the praying scene.

Poor louisoux.. and the lalafell was adorable. :)

There was a LOT of orange in that video though. Perhaps Dalamud had too much Vitamin C.
