just a thing : switching grand company you keep rank or begin from recruit ?
You being from Recruit, but when you switch back after a certain period of time, you will have your ranks. Its just like in 11.
I've said it before, and I'm saying it again here. Anyone who quits the Maelstrom to chase after "lewtz" can stay gone. You're a traitor in the eyes of the Thalassocracy, and we don't need your kind.
Loyalty above all, 'till sea swallows all.
Hey everyone,
Speaking of macros, we wanted to let you know that the UI team has confirmed that you'll be able to change an entire set of gear within one macro. :)
Awesomeness!
Cool :D Thanks!
I had secretly wished that gear sets could replace gear macros.
Saving different gear sets (without that locked gear thing) with an easy to use UI seemed way more intuitive.
Ahhhh such a relief. Right now I have up to 3 macros per job+class (equip+jewelry, armor for class, armor for job).
Now if we could get a Gear Equip Macro Recording feature:). That way lazy people like me could record an equipment set already equipt (or the equiping of a set), and have it saved as a macro, rather than manually typing it in, testing it, correcting it, testing it, correcting it... Then finally having it done:).
That actually should be incredibly easy to do with an add-on if it isn't in the game natively. Hopefully macros are still parsed in plaintext, in which case something like this could be whipped up in a day or two (Snag equipped gear as it's being added and append it to the macro file). Though I think the game only reads in the macros on load, so.... Bah, it's pretty much pointless to speculate, they already said the macro system is getting a massive rebuild.
well scoop me up and dollop me on a hot crumpet :O I like this!
Y'know, I was really hoping my question about how many rings Yoshi-P owns would be asked. But all anyone cares about is the game, lol.
