You're missing the point again.
Start a fresh game of FF5 or FF7. The first thing you'll notice is that you're by yourself(solo) for a certain amount of time until you pass a few check points. In FF7 there is more than one occasion when you play Cloud solo.
FF VII Crisis Core/Dirge of Cerberus/Before Crisis, is all part of the Final Fantasy VII Compilation set in the same world.
The main point of my argument is that this game despite being not only an MMO, it is also an RPG, and getting those aspects of what make those Final Fantasy on consoles great is something they should not over look when developing FFXIV 2.0 and beyond. It must have both MMO and RPG aspects of the franchise.
