That's an exception. That would be a good size for a T-Rex though. Maybe slightly bigger.

I like the idea of big mobs roaming the land ..and some of then being dinosaurs sounds cool ...even tho the biggest thing walking has already been set and will be Hydra :D

There used to be a dragon like spawn outside Ul'dah that did just that. He was a 58 or something and he was always on the road to the camp, right off the Ul'dah Gate. He got me more than once. Not including the multiple times I tried to kill the S.O.B.

There were a few mobs like this: peiste outside Uldah, malboro near Tranquil, ogre near Horizon, and goobbue on the way to Skull Valley. Perfect precursors to how they could handle a mighty Trex near low-level areas.

i always thought the little underground areas near Camp Horizon would have been a great place for a T-rex or any dinosaur in general. also that way you can stand at the top and look down and it's sort of like a zoo.. a Jurassic Park if you will. Wish I could find a screenshot lol

Nope nope nope, i think SE should take all dinosaurs out of the game. dalamud is a hughe astroids type thing coming to destroy, i think this should wipe them out. would be ironic comerdy.

He said that the team is currently focused on introducing more FF series monsters and enemies into Eorzea as their number one priority. So unfortunately there are no plans at the moment to implement these bad boys into the realm. (On one hand, I guess we should kinda be relieved...)

But but... FF8 HAD DINOSAURS! in the Training Facility!

There needs to be more dinosaurs... I complain when GameFreak only releases 4 or so dinosaur Pokemon per generation >_< (two evolution lines = four characters total)

But dinos are common in FF, especially in FF6 and the T-Rexaurs in FF8 D:

There were T-Rexes in FF12. If that has been said already I am sorry...but they do exist in the FF series.

Honestly, Dinosaurs do make sense to add to Final Fantasy, since several games did have Dinosaurs. Prominently FFVIII and FFXII, and as well as FFVI, minimally.

I think they are considered dragons instead of dinosaurs, or maybe not, but I'd really like to see FFXII dinos like Yiazmat and Hell Wirm:

FF12 had tRexes as well, vicious little buggers, sucked when you wandered out of the starter city and ran into one and hadnt quite gotten the hang of the game yet..

T-Rexes are as much a part of Final Fantasy as Airships, we need them.

Argue that Final Fantasy I had T-rexes. And allosaurii. And other dinosaurs. Make zones where we can have "random encounters" with age old FF enemies for nostalgia.

Good to see Bayohne go the extra mile to forward such crucial feedback.

I'm all for this idea, especially since we're getting Yellow Dragon from FFIV among other things. Would probably have to be in a later expansion, though.

So... um.... since we're adding T-rexes, can they eat other monsters too? And there should be some other big monsters so they can have something substantial to eat. Would be nice to see monsters aggro each other, because sometimes it's weird seeing the monsters living in harmony like care bears. Not all animals travel in packs, and not all morbols are going to tolerate that random Ixal that likes to run around in their territory.

The Tyranosaur made it's first appearance in Final Fantasy.. The First one. Alive or Undead, there has been Dinosaurs, usually T-Rex, in every Final Fantasy except 2, 7 and 9.

Seven actually had a Tank with a Triceratops mounted on it.

Dinosaurs are all over this Series. I don't think we need them all over XIV, but I don't see why we can't have any.
