Since I wipped these up in paint this weekend, I thought I'd share them here. No quad melds yet (I've only had two chances to even try) but I have a few triples.

Oh, and sorry for the necrobump
Hmm I can think of a few:
1) The first guy to get Maat's Cap in FFXI way back then
2) My buddy who had all crafts at 103 in FFXI
3) Me: check my sig. Actually might just want to call me a God instead of a Legend but whatever.
4) Applez from FFXIVPRO:

Honestly I never thought of myself as a crafting "God" when i played XI, but other people did. This just goes to show that it's all a matter of perception.
Most of Apathy was Legendary. They were after all the first LS to beat Pandemonium Warden. I miss my Remora, before they destroyed the game with Abyssea.
Legendary in my eyes is someone with great skill, not gear. Melds are certainly not a sign of legendary. I tripple Int melded my Lighting Brand before I ever spent 30 min on BLM. It's not that hard.
I think I have had some pretty legendary moments on WHM. I don't feel the other classes are really capable of legendary feats currently. I mean, there is no such thing as a perfectly timed Ballad, Burst etc. Just my opinion though.
I don't think that makes him 'legendary'... especially since he could just as easily have bought the gear rather than meld it himself. And someone winning the lottery doesn't mean they have skill.
