Summoner - What it needs.

3. I suggest you go take your dev team go play final fantasy 11s summoner see what peak summoner gameplay feels like. and give back the players sense of achievement when they fight 1 v 1 battle with there favourite summon. could of done so much more then what we were given.

4. also split summoner and scholar into two different jobs god knows we could use new level1 healer selection on character creation better introduce players to shield healing from from the start then on dps hybrid job at level30

like allowing summoners have very own trails that can queue up once per day to challenge the primal make them submit. in epic battle. make it so these fights arent easy but makes player feel awesome when finally do it

Summoner Quests are poorly made. and frankly boring to do . don't mean hurt anyone's feelings here but just being honest with you. please squire-enix think of players that supported your franchise for decades before realising bad repentive content.

This whole post is condescending and unconstructive, it's just wrong.

1. We talking StB or ShB SMN? Because they are both dead lol

2. You can't say something slowly in text for someone else to understand, that's condescending. I do want Shiva, Ramuh and Leviathan though. Odin makes zero sense but a lot of people say it, but only because a lot of people say it.

3. Rude.

4.They are 2 different jobs.

Why would summoners get special content? I don't want to be a limited job.

I still think about how good the SMN job questline was, personally.

There is precedent elsewhere in the series… Rydia (SMN with some black mage spells) could use wands or whips. Yuna (SMN/healer) had a pretty staff. I’d love a nice wand myself, but we’ve had 100 levels of books due to the Arcanist SMN/SCH split, so I doubt they’d change it up now.

I think maybe people just like Odin. lol But after playing 16, I can see why people would want him as “the dark summon,” since we got Sol/Light/Hydaelyn. Personally if they’re going to shove a dark summon in for yet another Demi, give me Shinryu. They seem to like dragon Demis a lot! lol But I don’t want to see another Demi at all unless we get Shiva, Ramuh and Levi thrown into the mix as additional gem summons. It’s the perfect way to add more summons/skills without more buttons, and more importantly, I really want all my elements!

I also enjoyed the SMN questline, as well as the little bits of summoning lore we got from ShB/EW MSQ, and hoping we’ll get more of that seeing as

someone’s apparently been teaching Calyx how to summon!

i would love a short staff/wand but u are right it has probably been too long to do that now
