I welcome these changes 110% however, glad that cool clothes thingy for Elezen is appealing to their elegant/superiority look.

1) They don't release in the highest quality. Always standard machines.
2) They're not finished refining the graphics.

They have to explain these with every release of Screenshots. lol

Kyra from what I noticed is just negative for the sake of it as well as constantly stating him and his LS will quit due to "x change" -- don't take too seriously lol.

I like how they are trying to WoW-ish everything, maybe the FFXI fanboys will finally leave.

Funny thing to say given that XI was and still is one of SE's many cashcows -- it would actually be bad if this game fails because it would be considered another WoW clone that didn't kill WoW, but given the tone of this post I'm pretty sure you're in favor of that.

No, i am not. I am just being sarcastic to people that keep talking about how it's going to into WoW's design direction when they probably never really gets into WoW, FFXI fanboys are as annoying as WoW fanboys.

Kinda disappointed with the lack of quality in the screenshots. The grass looks really awful.

The UI looks great though.

It is Ishgard, this is the screenshot caption 破壊されたイシュガルド要塞。 which means Ishgard Castle was destroyed.

Very nice screenshots, the only thing I would say is that they input your character on the stat/equipment menu instead of just a shadow of your character.

I so want that T-shirt!!!!!! Meteor survivor lol

Looks like Siren is finally back too. Boss, primal, summon? Who knows :P

im not always negative lol, but those screenshots do look a bit grainy. They really should show 2.0 in all its glory!

I'm kinda blown away how much better it looks. Really encouraging.

To the people saying the cathedral doesn't look very FF-like: I think it actually reminds me a lot of FFIX. It feels like something from Burmecia. Just because it's a little "foggy" and not as crisp as what we're used to that makes you think of WoW.

For the people complaining about the lower graphical standards for 2.0: Where have you been? We all knew that the graphics would be lower in 2.0 in order to help optimize the architecture and reduce lag. The graphics might be lower than current, but I think it has a lot more character. The current version just feels sort of "sterile" most of the time.

I don't see where the choco is jumping (half awake) I see it running across the bridge in long strides tho.

In all seriousness though 2.0 launch is going to be a time where people have to decide if they like how things have changed and if they want to stay. Be prepared to see tons of whining/quitting posts up to and shortly after launch.

Personally I see nothing WoW-ish about it other than maybe the fact that it actually uses some vibrant colors for once.

Have to admit, very impressed so far. (Did a double-take at the Chocobo's in the air :D)

Really hoping the video maintains the thrill these screenshots have delivered, also as some have mentioned, I definitely feel some of the areas (specifically where the Galka was jumping) have a reminiscence of towns in older FF games.

they didnt have enough time to develope it so they decided to destroy ishgard by damalud. story wise of course ;D

i have to admit, too that the graphics seem to be more weak. i mean look at the drg armor now and then. it doesnt seem that "reflective" and shiny anymore.

BUT.. and there is the BUT. there are much more details in the environment and no copy paste like now
