Trabia: What Did You Accomplish Today?

all Discipline of War quests finished, and all guild traits for DoW purchased.

Got a 2nd lance head, so a 2nd shot of HQing a lance when I get up to 50 CRP.

EDIT: Also, 3/3 on FNM runs in a group today. I got Bucc. Boots.

Yesterday I got rank 30 thm, I’ve also almost killed every new NM and earned 3 mil from killing Dodore, and today I obtained a Templar Chain Coif which I’m hopefully trying to trade it plus gil for bucc gear. =P

This happened 2 days ago but anyways, I've succesfully killed all new NMs solo on naked mode (well naked as far as the game let's me do it) and got a few weapon/armor drops along the way.

The main reason I did em naked was not to show off but because I really dislike repairing my equipment and I don't like having it get damaged for nothing, that is why when I PL anyone I do it naked too; although the other reason I did it was to make em at least a bit more challenging but the only one that came close to kill me was a certain Cactuar who kept spamming an attack dealing 1,000 damage.

I'm curious about that, did you killed him with 2 ppl (or 4 ppl if you got 2 wings), sold the wing(s) and split the earnings? Or did someone payed you to help kill it?

had a good run with my shell, DoM tonight, got 1 Bloody Lance Head, 1 Buffalo Horn, 1 Uraeus Skin and 1 Dodore Wing :)

Three of us and we actually got 3 Dodore Wings, we kept two and sold the other for 9 mil and split it three ways.

Someone was shouting at Nophica Wells asking for anyone "big and mean" to kill the Elder Mosshorn and since I was there hunting Black Bunnies for their eggs and seeing first hand how the Elder's gang was killing most ppl passing by trying to do their leves or hunting for eggs as well I decided to give it a try at soloing the Elder Mosshorn.

The idea was not just to kill him but actually trying to break the horns and since I have Skull Sunder II unlocked now I had a chance at breaking them but I had to deal with a very gimped SKull Sunder II doing around 70 damage each time it hit, wich wasn't happening that often because I was failing the WS around 40% of the time with my THM so I had to do a lot of weaponskills for that, but at the end the horns broke and the Mossy Horn dropped so I'm glad I got it. Still, even if the horn didn't drop people were freely entering the cave so at least it helped them continue to do their stuff in peace.

i wish the other entrance to that cave was a bit more obvious, no one ever seems to know about it =/

You are right, I've heard (or read for that matter) some people complaining about failing their leves either Field or Battle because of the Elder being in their way when they could've just used the underground tunnels.

Edit: This happened later today after this post was made but I don't like double posting so I'll just add it here.

Since I don't have a Silver Tricorne yet and my friend Sakura had to buy his I asked him if he wanted to join me in a NM duo hunt to try and finally get the skin and our hats made. We had seen Uraeus die at least 12 times now and no skin dropping at all but today was the day we finally saw it drop.

Alchemy r50. Ding ding ding.

Hmm... I'm back to ranking up a battle job starting today? 2x Lance heads 2x Beefalo horns and 1x Uraeus Skin +3 last night too ^_^

35 BTN and 46 CRP. So close to ranking up on both, but Grid is a pain due to all the stuff you can harvest and I don't have a lot of inventory, and there's only 1 Walnut node up at a time.

r50 Goldsmithing obtained yesterday!

not today but last night got 2 kills on the gobby, with both arms incapped each time and 6 kills of Dodore with double incaps on every kill and not a single drop :(

and I'm back to levelling stuff, not far from 50 conjurer and working on thaum and debating whether to take it to 50 or not.

BOTANY RUINED MY LIFE.

I got nothing done today.

Got enough lumber to make the final push to 50 on my CRP, managed to make a +1 and +2 crab bow out of 5 tries 2 days ago, and about 2K away from 38 Botanist.

The nightmare is over at last! 50 CRP!

Also, got all my egg helms, and did the R36 BTN quest, which is a total suicide run.

not today but yesterday i mastered the technique of glitching the stairs in Ul'dah :D
oh, also saw the GM as well, took a screenshot just as it used a skill.

Crafted for myself an Iron Needle +3 now that I found out I have to take my weaver 20 out of retirement and rank up to 30 for a specific ability wich name I just forgot but it's the one you buy with 10,000 guild marks.

I created a lot of +1s along the way and it made me angry because all those tries were with quality over 300 >< (and no I was not using +3 Iron Nuggets, I would not dare do that.)

Made a Champion's Lance +1 on my first attempt.

Rank 50 Pugilist, now to try to get everything to 36 and buy out all abilities/traits/etc.

me and Kurai almost duoed the gobby... almost.
got it down to about 5% hp before it raged, we will be succesful in our next fight!

Won the Trabia race, wich not that many people were aware of but still :D

I managed to get a ton of AFKing done today. Not sure how much AFK I can get in on the weekend though. Id like to think I can get a good hour or two in. Its been crazy busy with work.

The other day my party and I managed to kill a Rainbow Basilisk (r92) by Revenant's Toll, granted it was not the most graceful kill (Punishing Barbs for the win!); still it felt good taking the mob down! Now we just have to try killing it without resulting to suicide tactics...

We were doing so well too in the first 30-45 seconds of the fight, got it down a fair amount, then people started dropping.

lol I know how you feel. A friend and I decided to "attempt" a 97 goblin last night. Took a huge chunk off with punishing barbs but then he one shotted me. It was fun to try though. :D

Other than that, I FINALLY got mrd to 50 and working on my mage classes and pug and archer.

Congrats on MRD to 50 Solara! Yeah, taking on stupidly high level mobs and making any sort of dent in their HP is fun.

I've been wanting to try and fight those really high level mobs just could never be bothered getting a party for it.
i remember a while ago trying to take on a rank 97 mob though... solo lol
should be an easy guess for how that ended out.

grats on taking it down, those mobs deal insane damage!
