Nerf Chaotic

Heh I remember playing with you, I was looking for old posts on the forum as examples of people complaining about the Chaotic Alliance.
Your attitude was terrible, you've cleared the fight over a hundred times but you kept making more mistakes and contributing less than most people, not only that but your attitude was always foul and you kept blaming others apart from yourself, constantly blaming PF and the community.
Quite often my party would complain that you were in the alliance raid again and how they wanted to leave immediately. In fact you were the sole reason I never did PF Chaotic Alliance outside of a premade ever again - you spent an entire Saturday wiping the group and blaming the group... EVERY group we were in, I had never met you in game before that day, and after a few hours I remember clearly eventually stepping up speaking out about your attitude against other players.

I re-cleared once in a party that finally didn't have you in it, and I decided to stick to premade re-clearing after that.

If you want an idea of how unpleasant my experience was, this was an entire day, 12+ hours of no re-clears, which is fair enough, but you were the problem in each one, not only that, but you made every group you were in miserable by constantly blaming everyone else, whining about the content, to the point I remember you ONLY for those 12 hours we ended up in PF together trying to re-clear this content.

No because Yoshi loves artificial difficulty instead of real difficulty created with game mechanics and class skill levels.

Play a different game then with a different skill expression? This game makes no secret about how it works, however people can manage to get through all the story content without realizing is beyond me.

Yeah this content definitely needs a nerf. Organizing 24 players now to play it is just going to get harder and harder.

Not the content, just the interest to even do it. Find 24 people who actually want to run old content...

He also loves mechanics that can only be fairly done at 5 ping. Like how the current raid tier is a nightmare, as well as hand dooms, especially on legacy where you can't simply backpedal.

I claim precedence as the game used to have that different skill expression.

Four things that i would nerf/change, since they are the most frustrating things about this fight.

Doom:
Increase the timer of doom from 4 to 8 seconds before you die, gives healers a bit more time to dispell.

Platforms:
increase the time before a platform breaks from two people from 1 to 3 seconds, so you can actually react to people doing a wrong move.

Tower Damage:
Reduce the raid wide damage from failed tower stacks by 30-50%

Resurrection spots:

If someone dies make their body spawn at the correct side where their party is.

Group A West
Group B North(?).
Group C East.

(I have over 80 kills on this fight.)

you can avoid your own doom, but when someone is aspleep and hits some people you can not.

I'm pretty sure that being focused, being able to memorize things etc can all be considered as "skills" that are needed to clear different fights
if people get hit by every doom, its a skill issue

I 50/50 agree because to me the first phase of chaotic doesn't only use memories but also some real mechanic like the doom mech is the most mechanical thing we have in the game. I feel like the games "mech" are just memories games and that's what sadden me to me the first phase of chaotic is so good compared to phase 2

Phase 1 is fantastic. It's when we have adds that things get crazy

to me it's the transition from phase one to phase two if to much people are dead just wipe because you gonna fail no matter what

Also a design issue. I got hit by at least 15 or 20 dooms caused directly by the fact that mechanics that have that small a window of opportunity to solve it will occasionally and randomly get completely devoured by lag and the game's garbage netcode. Wait for timer, hear the telegraph of the mechanic snapshotting, walk out well before seeing it. Oops, all doom!

There's a reason I think EW and DT fight design is trash, and a big part of it is that the mechanics cannot be this fast without completely breaking the game for people on less than 100% rock solid low ping connections. It's worse in my position, since my internet fluctuates on both sides. Sometimes it's extremely stable and I can see why fights like M5S are so fun. Other times I notice a quarter to half second lag on when a mechanic actually telegraphs and when the musical sting said it should telegraph. Doubly so on mechanics that are supposed to be synced that just aren't.

But I suppose it is a skill issue if I don't live next to the servers.

I mean there are returners and then there are people that level jump. The former aren't really sprouts but some people regard them as such.

On another note, I am kind of surprised they didn't nerf it as well. I wanted to go farm it for gear but finding groups is a pain.
