well for now, it's about 98,5% person dont want the viper to change (only 1 person in this thread said he wants the viper to change)
my conclusion is that SE wants to change the viper even if nearly the whole community is against it

The change I wanted to see to VPR ain't this. Leave it as it is.
Coming from a ninja main, I want viper to change tbh, when they showcased viper it seems fun, fast, complicated, but when it finally released, man the job is too easy, no resource management, no buff management, no need to think, no nothing!
I wish they could make the job harder, and faster too. I feel the dual blade combo (Dreadwinder> coils) are still too slow, would be better if they adjust the gcd to less than 2s, 1.94 maybe, like monk, and the dual blade combo to 2s. And make another finisher other than death rattle and add positionals on it too, that's gonna be fun and harder.
No need to make the job playable for everyone, if u can't play it, then play another job, there's a lot too choose anyway.
Do not change VPR, the class is everything I had hoped for in a melee DPS and I'm glad SE was able to make a class with such intricacies and skill expression. Simple to pick up, but great to master

Actually, I saw a few posts, and I'd like 2 improvements
1 Better running and walking animation while unsheathed
2 a buff for my damage window for even more damage and speed

No changes to the rotation, effects of actions or positional requirements is neccessary. The job is ridiculously fun to play and the play rate of the job supports this.
I think the running and walking animations for when your weapons are unsheated could be improved.
I also think that the Reawaken combo could be made easier to use in dungeons, having to target one enemy and standing really close to them is a bit tedious and can interrupt the flow. Increasing the range of this ability will give Viper an edge in some raid encounters though, so might need to be careful with that.
Its fast, its agile and the skills are not bloated. Some more jobs could benefit from such great design.
The job hasn't even been out for 1 week of savage raiding. Why are they even changing anything?

At first I was annoyed by the focus on directionals, but after giving it a solid day of grinding up through 90+, I have to say I like where it is. It doesn't need any changes, though I don't personally know where it sits on DPS charts.
It's fun, fluid, action-filled - just as I love my MNK. I wouldn't change it, and I'm dumbfounded that they're even considering changing it already. Classes are allowed to have a little bit of "complexity", because everything's really becoming too streamlined-feeling. Viper has a bit of a nice rhythm to it once it clicks.

They can remove or keep positionals. I don’t care. They are artificial difficulty at best and a nuisance at worst
