Yeah, I also believe it is like this. However, I do feel some uneasiness related to this and I think it would be great to get a confirmation to if the battles (Ifrit / Moogle / Garuda) and dungeons (mainly CC / AV) will be staying in 2.0 the way they are at the moment and if we'll be able to get the same loot from them as we are at the moment.

Personally, I think it would be silly of them to remove good content players are motivated to do but the interviews quoted in this thread raise questions, as did the list they posted (really, nothing else is going to be removed?)...

We won't be able to get Primal weapons in 2.0, right?

yoshi has stated stuff would be removed, but gave no specifics on which stuff yet

anyone who says otherwise is just speculating on what it means, what we really need is confirmation

While we can't say too much at this time regarding Primal-related content... we can say that it will only be possible to fight them with the current strategies and balance in the current version.

I don't mind if the strategies change, I just want to know if they'll exist, and if the rewards will be the same (AND/OR new ones)

"Strategies and balance," to me, means the current iterations of the fight.

The way I interpret her post is that the fights as they are today (along with their loot rewards) will be gone in 2.0, but those same primals may return in new fights or content.

It comes off more as they are going to change the battle system again, and because of that the way they are currently fought will be changed but the loot will remain. <_< Though honestly it would be easier if they would just come out and say, yes you will be able to obtain the primal weapons in 2.0.

We already know they'll exist, and they'll still be instanced. But you might not be able to access them the same way we do right now.

Maybe by them not sayn anything they are sayn the weapons will not be there. Can see the rage on forums now if they come out and say primal weapons wouldn't be in 2.0... Some questions are better left unanswered. Even if the weapons stays in game can you imagine having to find the primel just for a chance to fight it? Unlike now the atherytes in one spot but if it not this way in 2.0 there wouldn't be much of spamming primel fights in 2.0.

"I say that there is a good chance their appearance may change in 2.0. Some will remain the same, some won't. So basically, the current game balance and the current reward will only be available now. Some of those items already exist."

I'm getting really frustrated with their persistent dodging of that one specific everyone keeps asking. Do we need to farm the hell out of weapons now or will they still be readily accessible in 2.0? Are they not here for us to create goals for an enjoy the existence of?

So, where should their attainment be on our priority list?
