Keeper fangs nerfed in the update

I've never posted on the forums before so forgive me if I do something wrong here. But I also set up my account for the first time to share how displeased I am with the keeper fangs. I know I'm just repeating what everyone else is saying, but the fangs are the most important part of being a keeper! Seekers get slit eyes, keepers get fangs! Now I feel like we're just "not seekers" instead of being keepers. It's really important to me that square enix makes the fangs larger and sharper for both the boys and girls. I really really hope they listen to feedback on this because this is extremely disappointing.

Please bring this back! Super sad about this change.

Depending on wich face and wich mouth you're using as a female, you may even get rid of the teeth completly. I, was one of the few "lucky" to get that incident by having my character having those specifics options (face 3 + mouth 4)

I was telling some friends that my Moon Keeper lost her fangs, they thought I was crazy and just playing with my mind, and while I tried to have the same timing animation for all mouth + face combination the game can give to the player, we can clearly see how different the Number 3-4 is from the others.

Still, while the others are more visible, they're still shorter than the one we have on patch 6.58, but having them shorter that combinaison of face+mouth makes it almost invisble to the eye. I hope they'll notice this and they'll adapt it later on.

I am a Seeker main, but I have a Keeper on my roster and absolutely echo what people say about The Reason why you pick Keeper:

The fangs

(and then maybe secondary/tertiary are the society, skin tones, whatever, but certainly FANGS FIRST just like Seekers are PUPILS FIRST)

That the fangs have been shaved back so much is criminal. Please look into this and adjust, SE. :(

The mouth looks much nicer, but it is such a big shame that one of the most defining and most loved features of Keepers got practically removed. I love seeing my Keeper's fangs in emotes and cutscenes, as well as other's

They were really attentive to listening about Au Ra scales and Limbal Rings, so I"m hoping they will listen to us about making sure we get the fangs back.

yeah i noticed that after posting this. they straight up are just. removing most of the stylization in the game. for reasons i can not understand.

my boy's fangs aren't nearly as long and sharp as they used to be. From seeing others' responses here it looks like I got comparatively lucky, too. Bring our fangs back!

To echo others' feedback, I appreciate that the teeth have been updated, but I do wish the fangs were more prominent in order to bring them in line with their previous appearance. They're much too blunt as they are now—and it strikes me as bizarre that there's variance in the level of bluntness to boot.

Please give our keeper fangs back!! Where are my boy's fangs? I made a keeper of the moon in order to get the fangs, and they are an incredibly important part of his character!! If anything I want them to be *more* prominent.

I should be able to see them in this picture and I can't at all. They barely show up in other parts of the benchmark but they could honestly just be slightly jagged canines.

He's a cat with fangs. Please give them back.

Return the fangs! This is an absolute travesty. The fangs are why I PICKED Keeper of the Moon to begin with! They were what made me decide that route over Sun, my guy's fangs are barely noticeable now.

Echoing what others have said, the new fangs are much duller in comparison to the older ones (especially for female keeper faces) which is very unfortunate. It's disappointing to see such a defining feature of the race changed after promising to keep appearances relatively the same, I hope they're receptive to feedback and reverse this.

Hi! I'm not a forum-goer but I am an avid FFXIV player, and I would miss my mooncat's sharp fangs dearly if they didn't carry over to 7.0; it was the SOLE deciding factor on me choosing to main a Keeper over a Seeker when I was still a wee sprout.

Please give us our teefs back! And thank you for reading! :)

This is that one thing that i can not let slide as it's the reason I'm playing Keeper for more than 10 years.

I echo the sentiment, please return to our Keepers their fangs! It is one of their best features!

Their little smiles make their fangs noticeable and it should stay that way! Otherwise I think everything is looking wonderful and I am very impressed but I want my miqo'te to still have his fangies.

Please modify our Moon Keepers' fangs to represent their appearance prior to the benchmark's graphical update.

the long fangs were a big part of why I picked keeper... pls square keep them things long nd sharp, theyre important

I made an account here just so I could add my two cents to the pile, so apologies if I'm doing it wrong. The graphical update is looking great, but my awesome kitty fangs being reduced to dull nubs is just awful. Please give us our fangs back! :(

Whoa, thank you for the detailed comparison!!! Yup, I'm face 3 mouth 4 too... What a baffling decision for them to make.

Please bring back moon keeper fangs. :) Especially Face 3 and Mouth 4 combo, but all of the moon cat fangs should be longer and pointier.

Also logged in for the first time after 4 years of playing. I picked Keeper because I could be blue, but fangs are important too. I'd really like to see them restored.

I thought when I first loaded the benchmark it felt like my smile was gummy and missing teeth. Fangs back, please!!!

“This tragedy, greater even than the Seventh Umbral Calamity, must be undone." It felt so wrong when I saw how much smaller my character's fangs were at the end of the benchmark.

I don't personally have a moon keeper, but this is a trademark feature like au ra limbal rings and viera bunny fuzz noses or sun seeker eyes; the fangs should stay at the original length.

Stop taking away trademark and key features of a race! These are important to those of us that choose the races with these features instead of a hyur. It is disappointing to see things like this happening. Nobody is happy with these changes.

Please bring them back. My real life canines are more pronounced than the fem Keeper ones :(

It was the reason I went Keeper instead of Seeker. It's a defining trait for the subrace and now it's just nearly nonexistent.

I'm not sure why this was a thought or why it was a consensus that it would be more popular to get rid of the fangs but please understand it isn't! If anything give fangs to both Moon and Sun miqot'e! I hope this is undone and fixed by 7.0

I think the sharper fangs on Keepers are really charming and I was pretty disappointed when I saw how blunt they were with the update. They might as well be regular canines. Please bring the fangs back for DT!

I don’t really post on the forums but I really like the Keeper of the Moon fangs and I want to add my support here.
The reworked ones are far too blunt and short, please make them sharper, straighter, and slightly longer so that they are at least as prominent as they are in the current game.

The Keeper fangs are an important part of their charm that makes them special and they should not be so hard to spot

Adding my voice to the masses, please let keepers keep our fangs!! It's a special unique trait that sets keepers and seekers apart and makes my boy feel distinct! He won't be the same with the little nubbins shown in the benchmark, and it seems like female keepers got it even worse. I want to chomp :(
