I don't want to do that, I want you to go play a different game that satisfies you instead.

Currently what I'm doing. Like I said, having a bunch of fun on WoW, it's getting a bunch of good changes and additions in the future too.
I'm mostly just waiting on news from JP fanfest and whenever they decide to drop details on job changes (which isn't until 4-5 months from now at minimum).
Not interested in it enough, yet, to want to play WoW, and definitely still want to play FFXIV, but I have to admit some of the recent changes in game and in general philosophy of approach to the game, and then the known upcoming changes... I was like "wow WoW is looking good".
Hopefully they will take that as the early war cry and prepare to address short comings in advance rather than wait for any sort of reverse refugee situation lol. Why wait for the fire when you can smell the smoke coming over the trees?
Especially, imo, especially smoke because in my eyes you can see WoW is directly eyeballing FFXIV now, for what it does well that it can take and make their own (which is what made them a good MMO originally*), with some of their statements but also with the whole Warband thing, which is dang near jobs in FFXIV. *Can see they still do it here and there, but the recent news and changes makes it seem like they're more active and less the slumbery sleepy blizz too busy making their employees lives difficult.
Warbands are gonna be so damn good and nice to have, it's going to be so much easier to gear alts. Even getting transmogs for gear types that you can't use on your current class is going to be easier.
My pipe dream would be to see them implement being able to enter dungeons with them
Wait, people actually *want* TP back??? Every time I heard anyone talk about it they made it sound awful, I'd rather not have to deal with a third bar to manage in this game. At least with magic is makes sense but add in most caster jobs are geared towards if you're out of magic you did something wrong with your rotation. If I had the choice I'd pick fluid gameplay over accidentally not being able to fight because I didn't pay attention to a bar that doesn't make much sense.
You want TP back? XDDD is a disingenuous remark against people who complain against shb/ew trashfire 1-2-3-4-4-4 casul game design.
Can you say that in blue
im going to be honest., perhaps brutally. but i dont think anybody who tells others that this game isnt for them should be this games target audience. ig what im saying is.. this mentality is legit toxic to the game. if everybody who was on your side felt this way. there be maybe 5k players left in total. I get this comment is a troll.. but i cant not call out the audacity of its claims. because ik others legit belive they have the authority to tell others they dont belong here. thats for them to decide. you should remove yourself from conversations you dont agree with. instead of stifiling them with whatever this was
So it's the opposite of XIV, where devs only really cater to 10% of the base who have nullified classes into a homogenous blob. I've been saying this but XIV players don't went to hear it-- WoW is drawing people back in. XIV is becoming dull when many ongoing titles today are actually changing things around or exceeding expectations in some other way. XIV is copy pasting and simplifying because "muh consistency".
And even with a brand new class, 7.0 seems primed to dive head first into the safe zone, if it's even possible for the game to get any further into it.
Blizzard had to take some risks and shake things up, given the last couple of expansions were....divisive, to say the least. SE's been complacent for a while. We'll see how that goes for them in Dawntrail.
I am not expecting much after NA and EU Fanfest unless they go crazy at JP I just don't think they will push the boat out. We also know what we are getting and it's pretty much the same formula but hey at least we get a new exploratory zone because for some reason they thought VC dungeons and a DD could fill that void.
Would it be okay if SE release less dungeons, less savage raids in exchange of different types of contents just to shake up the "formula" people keep complaining about?
If you want extra contents, just ask for moooore. That's what players do best.
Lately, I've been thoroughly enjoying Endwalker—there's just something about the storyline and environments that resonates with me. Of course, everyone's got their own take on it, and that's part of what makes the gaming community so diverse, right?
Playing as my Roegadyn has been an absolute blast. Speaking of which, I'm eagerly anticipating what Dawntrail has in store, especially in the realm of new Roegadyn characters. Here's to hoping for some incredible additions to the mix, perhaps a few towering, burly allies to spice up our adventures!
It all boils down to the combat design for me, it didn't just make current content stale and boring but inadvertently made old content worse as well.
Even the Ivalice raids are an absolute boring joke nowadays and as far as I know only Cid got nerfed directly.
Right now? Absolutely.
But seems to be a conscious decision by the devs, because I don't think tab target combat itself sucks in mmos.
It's just that all moment to moment decision making (as minor as it was previously) has been sandblasted out of the game at this point and all that's left is mindlessly mashing your 1-2-3 for sometimes almost a minute until something else comes off cooldown while you occasionally dodge the bad.
So when dodging the bad isn't enough to make the combat engaging, which it isn't in 90% of content, the entire thing just falls apart.
