Well you said it yourself. This is a role playing game. Following that line of logic, it makes sense that someone who role plays a female character could let her role fall in love with a handsome looking man. Gotta stay in-character, you know!

I was married in 11 :) it was fun for a while .. till he left me out of end game stuff because his buddies meant more..
then came the first ff11 divorce= server and name change :P

I know they're a minority but everyone doesn't have a or don't identify themselves as either sex. Our character appearance is already very clearly male or female so isn't that enough?

Btw I'd be totally cool with a race that doesn't have gender at all in the game.

Which was why roegadyn (Galka) existed, they had no clear gender (although portrayed as male visually) and were able to give birth via reincarnation

especially if they market to females as well.. However doesnt change some important things > most of u guys have girl's irl already.. (why do u need one on line too idk).. and if u dont .. most of u if not all have someone irl that likes u (maybe u just havent noticed because u look only for super models of something)

Galka have always been male, they were just an asexual race. As you can see in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RA0B7JzF27M), Galka are listed as ♂ on the menu to the left.

Roegadyn have females, so I don't see where people got this idea that they have no gender.

Also, galkas didn't reproduce the way other species do, but they are without doubt a "male" race. Look at it the way the Asari are in Mass Effect. They only have one gender so the concept of gender is wasted on them, but you wouldn't call them men, would you?

Coincidencially, the galkan race's curse from Promathia is that of rage. Also pretty typical for males, right?!
