Dramatic times in FFXIV

Every time I read a sus post now I think to myself ‘could this be Titanmen’ lol

We are all Titanmen, actually. Everyone on this forum is Titanmen except the person currently reading this post. Hello, not-Titanmen!

So if he did that, yes, DUH, I condemn it. I also Condemn bullying and harassment in general. As far as Im aware, he hasnt been doing any of that on the forums.

Proof that an Apology and not doing those things anymore (as far as I know) mean absolutely nothing.
Im not defending that he did it or acting like everything is just forgiven and any other nonsense, I dont even know how much of it is true as I was not even a part of it.
But Im judging by his actions that I see visually and his behavior that I can witness myself, here on the Forums. I dont see him going out of his way to put down and harass people, I dont see him antagonizing people, and I sure as heck dont see him making excuses or rationalization for what he does. I just see non-offensive and random memes that he posts in reaction to some things said.

But Memes and Jokes not targeted at people, are different, then Targeted Harassment and memes to put down people. Its not acceptable behavior, no matter who you are, you shouldnt do it.

I think its nice that the forums are more quiet and doesn't have a troll army around harassing and spamming/necroing threads. But it seems even with the troll and his army gone it seems he is brought up and thought about still instead of being forgotten about. If one person can be forgiven and there stuff forgotten why not forget about titanmen now that he is possibly gone for good along with his alt army.

That's because he lives rent free in everyone's head on this forum, it's literally almost in every thread his name is brought up, they just cant let go of him, they have to keep talking about him over and over again, it's actually obsession at this point, any new person that posts on the forum with a negative opinion or criticism instantly gets called titanmen and a troll, it's a really weird obsession that people on this forum have, they say they dont want him here, but they'll keep mentioning him non stop

Lets do that, lets advocate for that, Im 100% behind you and on board.
Ill wager the discrepancy is a cause of how frequent and often we would see a Titanman Thread, or see that he necros a thread to start it back up, and that there are/were people that encouraged him to keep doing it.
I know we are not capable of policing ourselves and the Mods are not here as much as they could/should be to stop it, but the only way I think we CAN do that, is if we can learn to ignore obvious bait, and somehow encourage real meaningful discussion and threads.

Which....is asking for alot with the internet. I know.

People should just stop being reasonable and fight for my entertainment.

I think moderators should be more active with the bait and troll threads so far they seem to be more active since its been a few days of no titanmen or alts. And ignoring the bait/troll threads would probably get them to go away also but not sure if people would stop responding to them which does encourage titanmen to continue.

It's been about two weeks. This doesn't exactly confirm he is gone or just merely bored and taking a break. It's not the first time he has done that. Additionally, a temporary ban on the forums is about three weeks. Assuming he has one. I think it's too soon to really say if he's gone. I'll wait til we get closer to 6.5 and the next fanfest before I start to think he is gone. If he actually does believe half of his posts, he is probably just bored like everyone else and will be back closer to 7.0 like most people. Titanman may be a troll, but he is still human. Even he probably needs a break from these forums once and awhile. (especially if he is letting his many subs expire for once).

Just so we're clear, Titanman also engaged in stalking, harassing, and derailing threads. I know you don't like me, but he was stalking me across threads here and harassing me, including making entire threads to do so and putting doctored quotes in his signature to make me look bad.

People like you didn't call out that harassment, you defended it.

"le funny man" didn't do anything like that, and what Titanman did was so bad that he got SEVERAL of his alts banned and over a dozen threads deleted. It was that rampant, and I wasn't his only victim. I find you anti-"le funny man" people totally disingenuous since you never once condemned Titanmen for the stalking and harassment and derailing of threads he did, and instead defended him. Indeed, every time I've brought it up since, some of you will defend it, to the point I just stopped bringing it up.

But no, when you attack "le funny man" but say Titan wasn't just as bad or worse, when you also refused to condemn him doing the same or worse things, you lose any credibility you might think you otherwise possess. Indeed, in the "one gets all the blame", you constantly attack the other and never the one that DESERVES the blame he's gotten.

As one of his victims: Titanmen was absolutely worse. And I won't take the word of those who refused to condemn him for it as valid.

I am all for the notion of forgiveness, we are all humans who mess up, but as far as I am aware the troll/s in question have never apologised for their actions and deeds. If anything, they would double down on it when challenged and even become more spiteful and aggressive. Its another reason why I think comparison between the two individuals mentioned in recent pages is unfair in this situation. I agree people do seem a bit trigger happy to call any troll or negative post Titanman, but I think it would also be foolish to presume they are forever gone. If they truly are, then people will move on in time. Until then, scepticism is not an unwise choice.

Its possible that titanmen and all his alts are only temporarily banned and will be back at some point and right now were just having a nice quiet period from him. I feel titanmens ban should be permanent but will probably be back at some point.

Actually, his alts were getting banned because "le funny man" had a report brigade on his discord and also scheduled targeted reports in order to try and get people banned, it was proven a few times too that this was a thing on now deleted threads, but the people that were there when it was up know.

There is no worse, both are bad in the end, period, and it doesnt matter to me if he targeted you or someone else, my only issue with you is your walls of text all the time, it's not like I have something agaisnt you, I just think both are bad, and that's my point of view, one isnt better than the other.

This thread is about Titanman but derailed with whataboutism towards le funny man.

Gotta say these new August born tanned cat sisters are much nicer than the previous ones. I enjoy how brilliantly Titanmen writes all the characters with different personalities to keep things fresh.
Vast majority of them are always polite and respectful. Even when they are under the heat.

Should I rename the thread as Titanmen appreciation thread II?
