My head just exploded!
Wanna trade life's?
Very nice collection young man, and I'm proud a fanboy as yourself has a darling to help inspire you to keep it safe and in good condition. ^^
I remember having FF1 and playing it over and over(even had a 2nd cartridge for different party set-up). I would have it still if my parents had never sold it/lost it. At least tell us you have beaten each and every one of those FFs, plzzz XD (maybe your fiance has!) :P
You just made me feel even more depressed with my life...... /emo
Ehrgeiz PS1 was a great game! Was hoping you were going to have it as I was scrolling thru.
It is in the list, i have both the playstation version and the original arcade hardware for my cabinet.
It was a fun game

Jesus.
I don't even want to begin to imagine how much all of that is worth.
Must be nice to walk into a room and see all of that stuff
I'm jealous @.@ I see alot of International versions, However I don't see a Final Fantasy Type-0 D:
WOOOT, now thats 1 insane collection. ME WANT :D
I am very impressed. Thank you so much for sharing! I hope you can continue filling your collection with quality Final Fantasy titles :D
Thanks!
i am inspecting to get some rare items soon, i will keep updating this thread
cheers
You all....are...pathetic...lol. It's just a video game collection... What does this do for you other than make video game fans goop their pants? Get off his nuts. He's not letting you near his fiance'
I didn't realize that was the actual arcade hardware until now. If I wasn't impressed before, I most certainly am now.
Fantastic collection, but where's Final Fantasy Chronicles? I didn't see it in there. Chrono Trigger deserves all the love too. =(
No clue the actual Randis played XIV..... wrong server though >:(
Yeah, show me the Gabranth helm and I'll call it a collection >.> :D
Dood has me beat though. I never had the money for all of those game systems.
I still want Chocobo's dungeon to be in there. I also did not notice Crystal Bearers.
Amazing collection! Your Fiancee is really pretty too :)
I'll give ya 200.00 for the whole collection. Final offer!
congratulations on your collection mate . It`s awsome .
What are those torpedo looking things she's holding on her face?
Those are the Final Fantasy VII 10th anniversary potions

It's priceless, collected over time.
I've seen lots of similar collections of things... destroyed by floodwater and winddriven rain. Heard the sobs of their owners too when they find out their insurance policy don't fully cover the "sentimental value" of their collection.
How are you insuring that stuff anyway?
Couldn't help but notice you don't have The final fantasy movies, or FF unlimited, or FF legend of the crystals.
But seriously, with all that stuff, SE should give you something now lol.
My collection is not insured. My office is on the second floor, so it is save from flood.
Most of my games are stored in protective foil or acrylic cases (to minimize wear from touching).
The window shades are always drawn and all windows are neatly sealed with a special UV filtering foil.
Inside the office i am only using LED lights for they have the least UV radiation and heat production.
Most valuable items are stored in glass displays.
I take good care of my games, dust them sometimes and use the consoles.
It is not just for the eyes, i enjoy playing all the classics.
while relocating i have lost a good number of items, including the FF movies, lots of games and a huge FF stand-up.
You can see it on the picture, dwarfing the TV it is standing on. i got if from a theater back then.

This photo is really very old, it was taken when the first FF movie was released.
My office is no longer there and looks completely different.
I have never seen myself as a collector to be honest, until one day i had to admit to myself that i had a lot of games.
However i have never felt like i must have a complete collection of anything, for that reason i do have all sorts of games and hardware.
As i kid i did not have so much, i was fortunate enough to have a NES and SNES with some games but i started buying all the things i wanted as a kid when i was able to make my own living :)
Most of my friends were into games, so we naturally accumulated a good deal of titles over the years.
Also as i have shared earlier, i am since over a decade working in the game development industry, both as a third party asset provider and founder of 2 studios. For me collecting a piece of game history is both related to my personal interest and work.
Thanks for answering.
I've worked in flood insurance for years and I cringed at your second sentence. But you seem to have a lot more sense when it comes to loss avoidance than some other collectors. :)
wow, where did you get the fiancee? looks like an import, limited edition I'm guessing? must have costed a pretty penny.
god damn it, we never get the cool stuff released here; its XIV's CE all over again
I have met a couple collectors in Thailand who have lost large chunks of their collections to the floods not long ago.
Heavy items like arcade cabinets are difficult to secure, plus not every one is living in a multiple floor building.
the floods in Bangkok were horrible and they have lasted for many weeks on some areas.
