Please... :/
Yeah one dedicated plate per job is the minimum acceptable amount, two would be better.
Plus I want the ability to rearrange the plate order the same way we can rearrange our gearset list order.
At least one glam per class (job+Doh+DoL) is really needed.
Please Square.

Need a plate for every class and job , that simple. I can't get 3 gearsets at i660 for DNC, brd, and mch to each have their own glams nor would I waste the time or currency if I could. I want my culinarian to look like one and my bsm to look like a bsm. Etc. Also give us the ability to link hair and makeup to the glam plates so we don't have to go to the crystal bell so often, I'd happily farm and spend a currency to be able to do so. On that note let us use more than one face paint at a time, so we can have freckles and something else. Better yet, make freckles as a facial feature AND let us select two face paints. Not very glamorous when we cant have eye shadow and cute hearts on our face!
With the fact that there will be 33 unique jobs, inc., crafters and gatherers, I do think there should be at the minimum 1 per unique job (inc., crafters and gatherers) + an additional 5 as a little bit of a buffer for anything someone 'mains'
With this in mind, and it's super ambitious but I think there should be at least 38 plates.
Please please please
Indeed. One per job/class should be the bare minimum. However, I believe we should have at least double that. If we could change plates anywhere, including outside sanctuary areas I could see the issue with that. That's not the case though, so this is not a case of they can't do it. It's won't.
To more glamour plates!!!
I'd rather have more glamour dresser space, when you level all jobs there are so many nice looking armor pieces but so little space to glamour them.

I'd rather they fix it completely like Wow's Transmog system and GW2's wardrobe system. Hell, we have a fix to the worst part or GW2's because we have glamour prisms that we can use instead of the awfully desgined Transmutation Charges(limited to obtain and sold for real money it's not pay to win, but it is predatory) in GW2.

Honestly, if they haven't been working on fixing their inventory code over the last 10 years, I'm saddened. They're sitting on shitty code, sure, but a decade is a long time to do it, though I figure they've been steadily making it worse not better. Fixed deadlines are the bane for people trying to avoid having to take shortcuts. We might finally see them tackle this issue once they no longer have to support the PS4 and very old PCs.
Honestly, the inventory issue I can handle. Though, I get why people complain. It can be a LOT easier, especially when it has been done by other MMOs. As of now, I just want the simplest request - more plates. It's like SE wants us to buy their cosmetics but discourages us because we can't glamour them as easily anymore.
Honestly, every game should either copy the GW2 system for cosmetics (called wardrobe) or be shamed until it does so:
-If you acquire & bind an item, it is automatically added to your skin collection.
-If you acquire a dye, it is automatically added to your dye collection.
-There is no need to store the actual item anywhere.
That's it.
It's insane that FFXIV makes us shuffle items around different storage options to wear them.

More plates and dresser space or glamour book like WoW.
Square enix needs to choose which system instead of letting the glamour plate/dresseer system stagnate under a bridge.
I find it so sad I can't have at least 1 glam plate per job including the crafters, some of the crafter outfits are really lovely.

Not too long ago I actually suprised how much glamour plates I really need for my jobs. And been doing it the hard why changing glams
I read a comment about the DT job limited gathering/crafting gear that resume it well : "So much effort for glams no one will gonna wear because of the lack of glamour plates".
Current amount of plates is fine, so long as it's PER JOB. But there also needs a Glamour Log where i can collect item looks as permanent account-wide unlocks.
I second, third, and give my fourth votes to having the glamour system improved a bit. A book to catalog (I know. . .That is more of a dream) and more plates would be fantastic. I would spend SO much time actually collecting an unlocking things it would be great.
Did we receive any news on that? It's gonna be awkward to have 2 jobs be left out if you have unique glams for each battle job...
I'm going to assume that they are going to increase the amount of glam plates so we have one per each combat job (23)
It would be great if we got more though
Sadly I haven’t seen anything mentioned about giving extra plates for the new jobs yet… I’m not through all the interviews yet though. With the way the UI is currently set up though, if they did add more, it would hopefully be in increments of 10. So maybe 30 total? I can dream! lol
Yeah, 23 is an awkward number, its more likely to be 25
I'm not sure if 30 is possible with current glam plate technology, but it would certainly be appreciated
I hope Yoshi mentions it at the next PLL, along with clarification how glasses will be converted
I'm going to be a bit more ambitious than that: please give us 35 glamour plates, DoH and DoL should get their own plates too, specially since they each also have their own class-specific gear. And expand once again the Glamour Dresser to accomodate more gear. Even with 800 slots, I still have to manage the glamourer time and again to accomodate glamours. 800 slots isn't enough. There is simply too many pieces people do or will not want to get rid because they're not readily available after they obtained it, something for which the glamour dresser was designed to begin with.
But if I wanted to be really ambitious.... full overhaul to the glamour system and give us a Glamour Log with a more illustrative UI, once and for all.
Sorry, that'll be 7.2 or 7.3 so they can make it a big headliner feature to hide the fact there's actually very little new content.
