Sadly, with the focus on Even More duty support they are planning, it just looks like they're doubling down on making it a single player even more

Yeah. With individual servers being on their last legs, there are not enough people to enjoy a social game via FC's or any kind of recruitment within server. CWLS is far superior with all the other people acrosss dead FCs on other servers lookinf for friends. But 64 is just hopeless now for the same reason. People aren't logging in enough or staying subbed enough for 64 to be useful.
Now if it was higher things would average out better, and keep old people who are interested in your community, but when they come back. As things are now, you have to keep kicking people, because they are not logging in.
FC chat is cross world and that manages to support 512 people.
Also would it kill them to announce when your CWLS members logon, like with FC chat, so that you can say hello.
There ought to be capacity with all those FCs that are no longer busy.
oh but wait... here comes that 'spaghetti code'!...
Afterall quality coders can only code when there is no spaghetti code.
Yeah, it is so sad to see they can't or don't want to invest at least a little bit of money on improving QoL features. The whole UI for FC, Friend List, Player Search, and obviously the CWLS feel soooo old, and it is old! They need to do a rework on those aspects, but please, at meast double the capacity of cwls >_< in the meantime!! I know it looks they are heading to the "solo experience" but you still need players to go hunting, doing high end content and stuff, it'd be dumb to leave those things behind.
i am once again asking people to hit like on the posts agreeing to more cwls space ;_;
We neeeeeed moooooaaaaarrrr spaaaaaace! Pleeeeeeease! <3
Yes we need larger CWLS capacity and increase the amount of CWLS we can have. I have to keep leaving social CWLS because I'm in hunt cwls for people who rely on in-game relays. There are many console players that rely on in-game CWLS only, it's time for SE to hear the people.
Going to bump this up with the statement that I fully hope the devs support the cries for help in regard to more communicative functionality. PLEASE give CWLS more space to hold players...
Bump on this thread! Hoping people to support this post so maybe devs notice and do something about it, please!
Can we get a bump on this?
+1
There are different reasons why players (especially from different worlds) play together. For example, because they are in different FCs. Or because they can't change worlds, for example, because they would lose the house.
I am in such a CWLS. As the first one was already full, I was able to join the second one. This means I can't communicate with the players from the first one. Even though we enjoy playing together, we end up being separated. Only a few people are in both and have to take over the communication between the two from time to time.
I can only explain the fact that the limit has not been increased to date by the fact that there may not be so many CWLS that are full. Otherwise I can't explain why SE hasn't increased the limit. :(
Once again following up on this thread in a long time regarding the member count of a CWL, a bump in the amount of members in a CWL would be wonderful. There is no given explanation as to why /fc communication is set to 512, why a linkshell can only have up to 128, and why cross-world linkshells can only have up to 64. The parameters limiting access to communication in-game is surprising, given this is an MMO... sadly to become a single-player MMO, from what other forum members have shared here.
Is it just to befall the social norms of an MMO and require third-party use of tools and programs such as Discord or Teamspeak for communication means? Or might the suggestion of maintaining social communication in-game always stay a lower priority? In-game communication would draw more to stay online and enjoy their valuable time more than one would believe, especially if they can hear their fellow friends and raid-members in a voice stream that they must first opt-in to each time; I believe that would also be a good solution alongside the increase the CWL member list, to ensure longevity of this game's realm.
