yet they seem inaccessible to you, guess you better like Titan Garuda and Ifrit then. Really this is a bit of a frivolous complaint and wouldn't bother me so much but the combat system seems to only foster one kind of play style while previous titles in the franchise had given players much more control over strategy and style. Turn based titles allowed you to form a party and strategy that suited you, and even XV allowed you to use different weapons even if it was sorely lacking in other areas. Maybe it will be different but right now it just looks so rigid.
I mean if you looked at the latest trailer you literally see clive use Ramuh and Shiva's powers. Heck this was even in the older trailers at points, you just have to pay attention. It's obvious that you like turn based so 16 combat and trailers are not going to be interesting to you so you probably would be less likely to notice these details. Maybe next game will be turn based, though i kinda doubt it since more people like action over turn based. I personally wouldn't mind another combat system like 13. Also base 15 was pretty rigid all its own, while yea you could change weapons it really never felt that great.
and FFXII also reused a lot of assets from FFXI, especially on monster designs lol.
By and by, teams reuse assets and nobody actually cares, because
A. They almost always update the asset to fit into the new game engine anyway
B. You must be an out of touch princess if you've just started to notice games been doing this up until now and are trying to come off as someone who found out that Santa wasnt real and is trying to rally everyone to the obvious truth.
Oh, dang! You actually kind of have a point with those music clips. Do you think Soken knows this guy is ripping off his melodies?
The "producer" for 16 is a thief and a coward then. I can't wait for Yoshi P to catch him in the hallway of Squenix HQ.

Can't believe FFXVI is using RGB values to make color in game. Copycat!!!

Money savings! It's pretty simple tbh.
Now preorder the game and also keep subbing to 14!
SE will show you their love, by giving you even less content :3
Its genius really :D
Imagine if Square mailed a copy of FF16 to everyone who's been subbed through post-EW as a thank you for putting up with how lackluster 14 has been while the A-team was away working on 16 instead. Or even just a 10% off coupon for a PS5 so we can actually play the mainline game that's actively siphoning resources from 14.
Can I sell the 16 copy? I have no interest in it.
final fantasy series always has reoccuring creatures, summons, monsters
i'm sure the living liquid/flame isn't even specific to ff14 just like the bombs and carbuncles and moogles and ixal and morbols and whatever all else have appeared in multiple diff FF games, and also..........p sure you're just shtposting anyway so who cares
Wait til he finds out a lot of the ARR models were updated XI models. Or that most of the music is remixes of old games. The endwalker main theme is literally FF3 Overworld.
all this from a dude who copied capcom to make his ffxiv character like cmon now
At some point in time I'd like to think that someone at SE was just like "I don't get it, we just keep repackaging the same game over and over and put a different number on the end of it and they just keep buying it"
Turn based isn't necessary, but some kind of difference in styles or approaches would be welcome. If you prefer to be at a distance and maybe use mostly or only magic, or maybe even a ranged weapon then you are just plain out of luck it seems, swords only and sword combos only.
Are the Dominants in FFXVI going to be put on blast for just being Jinchūriki from Naruto next?
