Because sadly there really isn't much to do in the open world. Unless you're farming FATEs, gathering, doing the tribe dailies in that general location, a quest, or getting TT cards, there's nothing to really do in those areas. There's nothing social in nature. Most people I see are either in one of the city-state/Gold Saucer, in residential areas, or are currently running instanced content. There's a reason why mega-servers became a thing in GW2 for the various areas, because they had similar issues with empty areas happening.

Peel through the nonsense, you do get a very coherent picture of the issues with the game right now. They haven't been addressed or responded to, so everything feeds back and amplifies, creating what we like to call "population inversion".

actually the recent trend of the usual crew of forum posters has actually been great. I enjoy the game,log in daily, do not find it a waste of my time, which is what a game is supposed to do.

The forums however, recently, with all the... posts... I have found several days going by without even visiting the forums. its a good experience to forget this place even exists. the faces of the "black knights" may change, but the same way they post never do. all I can say, is if the forums disgust you, stop coming here, probably the best thing you do for your mind, and for your in game enjoyment.
