If this is impossible, please add all hairstyles when creating "retainer" we can always use retainer fantasia to test out new hair on every race in this way if the system does not allow new hair to be previewed. Just an idea here!
If I could add to this, glasses/facewear, emotes and chocobo barding previews. These items tend to be quite expensive.

i'm in the process of deciding to buy one of the new shop hairstyles but im not really sure if it actually fits my character, the colour scheme and the glam. not sure if its actuslly worth it to buy. sadly there is no preview for this. maybe from a hair specialist npc we all know who could cast a bit of illusion magic to show us hairstyles he has seen before.
Adding more support to this thread. Spent several mil gil on a hair that looked cute and I thought would work well, but didnt fit my WoL and part of it looks jank to me as Im the one staring at her backside the most. . .
