I agree, they need to either make instanced housing. OR they need to make A LOT of more wards. And they can't have PRIVATE Housing in the same fluffing ward as FC housing. Like whomever tought that up needs to rethink.

Convert all wards to FC only and allow EVERY player to purchase a small/med/large instanced house for themselves.
All players should have a house not just a handful of elites.
Thats the issue... they want medium or large ... best of course the large one.
and than they do nothing with it for like several months only to plop down some gardens and a aetheryte. ;)
I am really sad that there are some houses that are closed and not decorated ...
Nevertheless, maybe they should add a system were you can upgrade the size of your plot over time. This would require a total rework of the Wards. It would be a solution but is pretty unlikely to happen.
Yes let's make up quotes that no one said. He said; " leave wards for FC and have instanced for everyone else." Nowhere did he say remove housing for anyone.
I disagree however. I say remove wards and start over. Create unique, lively, dynamic instanced zones for player housing. With beaches, swimming, jumping, weather, etc.
Housing could be so much more engaging than it is.
Because somehow the housing wasn't exclusive enough and therefore our supply needs to be even more limited?
I'd rather just see, for a start...
- housing made account-wide and limited to personal house per server per account, and
- the apartments given a large and entertaining commons area in which to hang out between the various stairway exits up to the actual rooms, ideally with each wing of the apartment complexes having a different room shape and perhaps further sub-variants such as more balcony space (with an actual view of their capital cities). Most of the social benefits of having neighbors, even if their extrinsic benefit (in showing off your house to anyone who happens through the server) is limited to those given permission to visit.
