This happened to me in Ward 12 Lot 10 Sragatanas of the empyreum had ticket 1, the only person to be in the lottery for it. Rolled a zero.

We got the same issue, but I got a question.

The people here when did you put your ticket in before or after the patch ?

I'm wondering because I put it in before patch and I got the 0 so the people who got theirs did you put it in afterwards.

JP lodestone put out a notice that it's being investigated. Im inferring from this that it was unintentional. Hopefully they have a way to fix this without going in to another bidding window.

Same thing is happening on Cactuar. All bids from same free company - winner was 0. Ward 1 Plot 13

My FC experienced the same issue. Three of us each placed a ticket for separate houses. When last checked, and even after the results, it states that there was only one participant. When we checked the results for two of houses today, the winning results were 0, even though there was only one participant, which would mean that our FC should have automatically won. Instead, it gave us our Gil back and said we lost. Is the lottery system broken? I'm seeing that there were at least some winners in other wards since there are homes built or being built.

Had the same issue happen to me. I was the only bidder and recieved bidding number 1, but the resulting winning bid was 0. I accepted my refund as I was confused as to what this meant, but I would still like the plot that I rightfully won.

I would like to add that this is incredibly frustrating since my FC is a very small FC and we have been wanting a small home for the FC for quite some time. We thought we'd be able to finally get one with the implementation of the lottery system since we missed multiple homes in the last housing update, but of course the lottery system has to be broken. Really leaves us feeling sour about it. Hopefully they just redo the drawings with the participants that were already in line and don't just entirely redo it in four days as scheduled.

I would also like to mention that I was affected by this as well. Coeurl, Empyreum Ward 24, Plot 10. Character: Kurious Bongocat.

I would like to also 100% agree with what some others have said - I hope we are able to "re-roll" with those who had already put bids in. If we have to wait, the odds would be unfair as they would be lower due to more people bidding on a smaller number of houses. It would be unfair to those who had the same advantage/disadvantages as the people who were not affected. Just something to consider.

I did this exact same thing thinking I didn’t win. Never knew it was a bug. Was only competing against 2 others and now might lose an fc house cause of this. Shouldn’t have pulled out money but didn’t know

No, myself and three other FC members all put their lotto ticket in at the same time -- as soon as lottery opened, so before the emergency maintenance patch. One of us did get their plot, but the other three of us got the bug. The maintenance may have played a part but based on our outcomes I feel it isn't likely to have been the cause.

Housing Lottery Bug: "The Winning Number is...0." affected me as well as others.

I was one of many unlucky souls who were targeted by the "Lose to the winning number 0" while entered for a Free Company house.

Any assistance is much appreciated, as this is quite saddening to lose to no one. Cheers in advance!

I have yet to accept my "refund" on the bugged lottery entry in hopes that the error is fixed and as the sole applicant for this FC plot, Ward 10 Plot 27 in the Empyreum on Sargatanas, I can obtain this plot with GM assistance.

First time trying to obtain a house and this happened to me also.

Bid on the plot itself first day it was available, but unsure if being prior to the patch had anything to do with it. FC was only bidder but as everyone else ... winning number was 0.

Accepted the refund as didn't want to lose the gil but worried now that if they do fix it this may prevent me obtaining the plot... that said not spent any of it or even moved from the plot just incase!
