I'm really hoping we just get something different for 7.0 other than tomes. Tomes have been a fine currency based system but we have been using it for so long now that it just seems like a chore to do. I would really like some sort of system where we get the relic gear for our class and upgrade through tasks or collecting or combination of those. Very similar to the relic weapon if not the same, at least something other than collecting a currency to spend on gear for another 2 years.

They did that sort of worth Eureka, and everyone hated how much work it was. At least I can do other things to earn my tomes. One good hunt train knocks it out.

I think tomes aren't really an issue because there are so many ways to get them. I haven't done any expert roulettes on my main since savage launch and I still cap my tomes every week.
