Ideally? I'd toggle only for FC/Friends. That would take the QoL functionality of bubbles to the best level (I am aware of the plugin >>)

Basically, this. Plus, even getting the notification sound I still have to take my eyes out of the main action to see what they posted, and hopefully not having to scroll up if your other chat boxes are spammed.

Not everyone owns a huge screen to be able to separate different chat windows in different parts of the UI.

Chat bubbles are a standard feature in all other MMOs i’ve played, it’s beyond me why having it here as an option causes so much discordance.

I don't want it unless they do it right. I don't want to, like an example said before, go into Limsa and have my entire screen covered by chat bubbles to the point I can't see anything.
