It is VERY melee centric. For add control and splash AoE. Melee are great for this fight - we've never alluded otherwise really. We used a setup that worked well with our strat.

I guessed 7 hours 9 minutes. Close, but with thousands of guesses in all regions there's no way it's close enough D:

congrats bg and don't bother with the troll mad that he couldn't get a win and realizes that your setup worked.

great job....just wish the stupid servers would stay up long enough to even get a try at the stupid thing. 10 hours yesterday down and then get up this morning with some of my ls and try to log in and still can't get in game.

That's just how the way it works.. First kill Strat= The law Sad but true.. thats why Im forming my own parties so I don't have to worry about Job stacking to the 10th degree or anything like that.

It just amazes me that so many people wait for the strategies to come out. Then complain it's not the way they want it to be. Instead of ignoring it all and doing the fight how they want to.

What he says is totally right, hes just blaming the wrong person for it. On the other hand, its hard for SE to make melee-heavy fights with this latency cause basically any type of movement by the boss destroys any chance for a melee to do proper damage

As for the class-stacking QQ'n:

• Its been made abundantly clear that this battle can and will be done by melee onry.
  
• Just because this strategy did involve class-stacking should not suggest a battle that is geared toward melee classes should exclude other classes completely. It works both ways dipshits, as it should.

they're called sheep. people want to get a strategy and follow it and not put in the time and effort to figure out a strat that works best for their group.

it's the same thing with the people wanting mnk only on the mistress in av when it's been proven it can be beaten in less than 2 min without a single mnk.

they want to blame that on bg as well and they should be blaming themselves for not trying other methods that work just as well.

I dont care about first win (I haven't even tried the fight I will admit it) I don't care if it takes me 1 month to get my first win, I just want to be able to play a job I enjoy not "come this job noob, why isnt arc lvled it should be for this" and yes I have seen ppl saying that.

I feel the same way.. I wanna go a Job I love, Sure there needs to be a Strat that works.. but I would love to do it with the job I love the most, not be something I'm not, in this case BLM... I'm a Dragoon... and I should play like one..

believe me i am the same way. my group will do their own strat(if se can ever get the damn game where we can play it before i leave town for a week tomorrow). i'm just saying don't blame bg for the community following them like sheep. the content can be beaten other ways, but the community as a whole is too stupid to figure out their own strats so they follow the first to beat something.

the setups may have been adopted by the community, but in none of the fights are certain setups required to complete them. just like everyone tates take all blm's war's into the new dungeons, but dr mog posted a video that was completed with 1 of every job and 2 whm's. that shows it can be done, but people aren't capable of doing it because of low iq(to figure it out) and horrid skill levels(able to accomplish it).

because we utilized DoM as our primary source of damage we wanted to make sure we could BV Ballad twice as well as keep Minuet rolling (M.Acc and Acc in general is very important on this fight). Rain of Death and Wide Volley also are huge add control devices and work wonderfully.

Before i post that comment i was already saying that people should give MNK , DRG a chance.People in XIV do get blinded by easy strategies but theres also some easier Strategies better than stacking War BRD BLM imo.

am just suggesting to people to give DRG and MNK a chance.

On our first several attempts, we tried:
WAR WAR WHM WHM BLM BRD MNK DRG

And got past Aerial Blast into the next phase.

oh i agree. i think drg and mnk will get a shot within ls's, but i'm not so sure about random pug parties and that's because they go with the easiest strats and setups because then it has the lowest skill requirement for each member. i'm not saying it's right, but we all know the shouts for randoms will be x class onry.

it would be the same way with or without a posted strat.
