Harassment and abuse in FF14

one of my friends a couple years back got told from two random male players that they were going to find out were she lived and tie her up and force themselves on her she quite the game i reported it with screenshots of the text in party chat it was on eu and the devs said they cant do anything because she wasnt the one that reported it this is one of the reasons why i mostly ignore the chat in eu and na these days and mostly play on jp servers because the devs would do something about it if it was reported to a jp admin sadly i have an eu account so i still have to deal with eu admins but thankfully the jp players know how to behave themselves oh yeah and on top of that if i kept adding more to the ticket asking wtf why that is sick that you wont protect the players from such horrible people i got told i will be banned if i keep insisting for them to protect the player base lol

Wow so many highlights in OP's story. We all know we have to ask her for consent about our coffee. Loved the part where the friend, or "friend" randomly mentions suicided and she breaks contact. Did it ever occur to you that HE might be suicidal? But no, EVERYTHING ANYBODY DOES is about you. Jesus, what a read.

From bizarre statements, without any proof of course, about so called "manipulators" to weird things they apparently said or did. Random quotes that kind of contradict themselves without any explanation to the situation they were spewed in. Not to mention that apparently that eye damage is definately permanent? Did you get that checked? Did the eye doctor say it's actually a problem with your eye that ISN'T (probably) psychological? If so they were sure as hell a manipulator. OP hopefully gets the help she needs.

Additional highlight: The "manipulators" can't distinguish between real life and fiction but OP got severe mental and physical problems from texts in a video game. No mention of communication on other platforms, but it stayes vague everywhere. After all a true manipulator withholds a lot of information, only giving you the part that paints them favourbly, like OP did :)

@OP: If you REALLY have / had such problems, please:
- don't throw out random accusations and weird allegations
- explain at least 1 real situation in detail. Not your "they manipulated me". Let the READER interpret the situation.

Bonus point: I can't be manipulative, i don't like Undertale :)

I dont get it. You talk about someone destroying your life yet its just a fucking game and you can always just shut it down or block everyone whos annoying you. So whats the big deal??? Ofc nobody will ever know how you feel and ofc its sad that such pieces of shit exist but why do you bring youself down by them and feel the need to post this 10 paragraph stuff nobody will probably read? Deal with it like an adult and dont give a fuck about them . Dont read their shit and just play the game however you feel like. I just dont understand why you make those ppl worth it to write all this stuff about them. Read this in your mind a few times please and you will find eternal serentity: "I DONT GIVE A FUCK!!!"
