Oh no, I'm not expecting that kind of thing. It'll be the standard fare, of course, potentially some news on their tests with cross-datacenter capability; its been a while since we've heard about that, but I'm only speaking of the amount of information, rather than what it might be. I think you are drastically misreading my tone here, I'm not really convinced of anything more than what we usually get, but since there's only two events I expect to get more of the normal information in each than we've naturally come to expect between the typical three events.
I feel perhaps I was misrepresenting my own thoughts there, but I'm really just talking about the "amount" of information, as we already know what to expect in a general sense.
His wording just implies that we'll get more than we'd usually do with just a single fanfest keynote—that's all I'm taking from it.
Everything else usually gets revealed during the media tour (which probably doesn't exist this time), in-between interviews or is detailed on the dev blog before release. I expect it to really be no different than before, just that the info from all three fanfests is being reorganized into two events, rather than three.
