It's almost as if SE wants RMT to be legal, but does not have the legal backbone to make it so -- and then there's the JP end of it who finds it dishonorable.

The only solution is to remove all reference to availability until all timers run out. If the gil price is up, the thing can be purchased. If not, at whatever point in the process, the last owner's name is there.

And perhaps even a limit to how many people can be in each lottery.
