Except wasn't theirs tied to walking into a store or fast food place and buying chicken? No way to limit how many codes someone got. Amazon will only let me get one.

the dungeon and dragons online catacombs pack is listed at 19.99, but sold at 9.99. it has the chocobo on the page. i think runescape has something similar. just sayin'

From what someone on reddit had said, they managed to get more than one code doing that, so yes. Translating the costs, it was still about $20 being spent to get each mount though.

Once you're in checkout though it does not have the notice that you qualify for the promotion that something of the appropriate price does.

Log into the mogstation, look for "Square Enix Account Settings" towards the top right and choose Account Information from the dropdown. Put your birthday in when it asks and then it should show you a bunch of info including your region.

It says 'Europe & Other Regions' Meaning my FFXIV is Region 2, The campaign is NA Region 1

Can't wait for the UK/EU promo where we would need to buy three, limited hard-to-find useless objects no one wants over the span of three months and then forced to take a picture of our foot with the said three objects, before sending it to some dodgy company behind it all to even have the possibility on getting the mount. Excited.

I purchased a game that is value at $19.97. it has the black chocobo promo for the game. Do I still qualify? I received no notification after I purchased the game?

I bought a timecard yesterday (the offer applied) and actually messaged Amazon to get my code (reddit users told me that this was a thing) and sure enough it worked.

So if you don't want to wait for your big chicken you can message them now and they should be able to give you the code.

Thanks for the tip! I haven't got mine. Time to chase them for one!

As a Canadian myself, I ordered a physical game.

Even though the game had not yet been shipped, I reminded Amazon that this order qualifies for the promotion via message center and sure enough, got the code within an hour.
Applied to account np.

I couldn't get the cloud mount as that weird website they picked sold out of stuff and was really dodgy. Was gutted we didn't get amazon. I'd have even done the weird magazine thing again

I just found out personally that that doesn't work. :( You should see a specific notification showing at checkout, when you put in card and shipping, saying that you qualified for the promo. I had attempted purchasing Fallout 76 which was discounted to 17$ and also had the promo on it's page but at checkout never got that notification.

You won't receive any notice after purchase until they send your code, but you should see mention of the black chocobo somewhere on the checkout screen before confirming your purchase. The game must be $19.99 or more (after discounts and before shipping & tax).

If you want the code after purchase, contact Amazon through online chat and they give it out, don't do phone, they'll just tell you to wait the 2 days.

Just got my code in the mail from Amazon and the mount is pretty nice. When it flies you put the pole with cabbage to the side and pull out a candy cane pole with a peice of cake. Guess he needs extra motivation to fly xD

In all honesty I believe it is just a copy/paste of the other fat chocobos we get with slight variations XD Still gonna get it though.

Other than the regular fat chocobo, which doesn't have a crown, the rest are pretty much the same. The only difference is their colors.

does anyone know if the smash pass qualifies, it seems to meet all the prereqs but it doesnt say chocobo dlc on the page

As someone from South America, a place that I doubt that SE even recognizes that exists... I know that feeling. lol And I don't think they're going to change.

If it does not even have the promotion under "special offers and promotions" for the product page, then no it does not count.

Heads up for some people to check again for the digital time card. Yesterday it said unavailable, but today gave it another try and it was up for sale. Now just to wait for the redemption code for the bird.

Well you're not paying for the mount at all, you're paying for a product and get the mount as a bonus. It would have been better if it were account wide though. I have too many alts and choosing which one gets the code is frustrating. :|

I was told only NA registered accounts can redeem this black fat chocobo, that's sad !

Guess it's a good time to try out Nier before the raid. Too bad about it not being account wide though.

So basically if you really want the mount you gotta waste money on a game you have no interest of playing. Kinda sounds like a cashgrab to me.
