Well unless there is another sneaky maint I will be online from around 20:00 (GMT+1 or BST) today, but not for long as I have to be at work at 05:00 the next day, but I will try and catch up with someone in the ls and see about joining. Maybe I can log-on before work, say 03:30ish tomorrow if that helps, iunno lol. Would be nice to actually have somebody to talk to ingame at last.

We're currently at about 50 members. Given that Linkshells in FFXIV are limited to 128 members, we might need to cut back soon. I'll keep everyone posted.

The reason for cutting back is because there isn't a really good way to remove someone from a shell. In order to remove someone, you need to be standing right next to me... online... with your linkshell equipped.

Let's say we get to 128 members and I want to remove someone who has been inactive for weeks. I can't do that until they log into the game, stand near me, equip their shell and allow me to do it. It a little more than annoying.

This especially makes me nervous in the event that someone stops playing the game entirely. If they never log on, I can never remove them to free up space.

This wouldn't be a problem is there were no limit to membership... but until that changes, we need to be careful of how many people we let in.

Just a friendly warning.

they don't need the shell equipped to remove someone. as long as the name is white when you browse the names in LS you can oust.

Well that does offer one solution. But for their name to appear as white the person needs to be logged on and next to you.

I consider moving to Ragnarok from Balmung simply cause SEs 32636832174388734th blunder has made the game less enjoyable for me to play on a full server when they don't have a proper engine (why else would they mention "optimizing" it?) is Ragnarok any good?

Havent had much problems yet on ragnarok.
Till now i am very happy with it.
Pretty busy but few problems except for the uldah inn but we know that lol

my only regret will be that I was part of a RP on Besaid/Balmung and my the friends I used to hang with will probably be upset.

I had to restart my character recently but im on Ragnarok now kinda bumming around, shooting little sheepies, chopping down trees, picking at rock formations, and generally being kinda awesome. I hope to hear from someone, its kinda lonely playing this game with no one to talk too X)

I was wandering if I could speak with someone later tonight or sometime about maybe joining your LS? I've just started this game about two weeks ago, and am still trying to leave the ropes and what not and it would be nice to have people to talk to instead of playing in silence and it would be nice to have people to ask advice of that's been around for a while.

In my experience playing an MMO by yourself pretty much sucks, to me anyway. My playing hours suck, I work from 3pm-2am 4 days a week as a Network Analyst, but I'm usually on in for 2-3 hours after work, and then when ever I'm free on my days off.

So I don't know if you have anyone on that late or not, but if possible I'd like to get a hold of someone in game and see if I can join up.

you can try to send anyone of us a tell , they may direct you to a leader if they aren't leaders , usely there's often someone around in uldah , i am sure you will find us :D

Hello, I'm pretty much brand new to FF14 and am looking for a good Linkshell. I played FFXI on and off since the beta but felt it was time to move on to something different. My character name is Rucifeld Aulyre. Please send me a /tell some time. I'd love a linkshell!!!

People before you consider joining . please read the rules on the 1st page.
A lot joined only to see after a few weeks most are offline / idle lately.
The purpose of our linkshell is social and helping each other to advance and when enough members gladly help out with bosses and dungeons.
That being said , if you expect to go inactive anytime soon , then go look for another LS ,(yes i know this sounds harsh) we need active members that maybe need help and can actualy help others or are willing to ,and finaly are willing to do endgame content , get a strong willing group together so we can do it all.
And not when i look online there are only 5 members active of 45 members we have atm.
Please be aware of that before joining.
If you wish to join and be active.. theres always a spot open and i happely welcome you to our LS.

P.S. active means you are regulary online if even for a hour or just pop in to say hi and have a little chat.
Inactive means i have not seen you for over 2 weeks wich seems to happen a lot lately, i know some may have personal or real life reasons , and it's ok.. we all do have those.

Considering that this thread is still active, can I ask a question?

I am wondering whether you guys are active during EU time? (This is probably in the forum on ffxionline.com) but I haven't had a chance to register yet.

A linkshell would be handy for me, as a new player, and I do not see myself going inactive within two weeks but I do have a pretty tight schedule coming up. (Exams etc). To be honest, I could really use the help to learn the ropes of this game and hope that I will be able to do something in return later on.

I am currently planning to level a Lancer, but I believe FF XIV still allows the Class switching?

Hello! Just came back to FFXIV, as my recent job change will allow me to spend a lot more time on the PC. I already got on the forums, Malivion Majere is my in-game name. I'll keep an eye out for Yyg or another officer, but if you happen to see me first I sure would appreciate an invite.
