If not everyone does that, as you stated at the end, then there's no point in generalizing about one side (since the same also applies to both sides).

To OP :
I play since the second or third week of the game back in 2013 and made breaks due to the memoquartz system being borring at some point and I like playing some other good games when I'm feeling like turning in circle.
You clean the content you can then basically wait for new content farming memoquartz to gear your alt jobs.
Now posting in here the reason why you unsub, well, it's a trend it seems.
You think Ultimate is cheap programmed, ok I would be pleased to see your job on any game you made.
You don't like eureka, which is clearly not necessary.
You don't like season events giving gifts and which are optionnal, ok.
You don't like seeing glams in a cash shop. Ok, hmm, don't look at it ?
You don't like having poor choice of skins for your male characters, it's pixels, you can make a female miqo'te or a lalafell and laugh a bit.
You don't like to see gender lock on future races but you said you are playing a male and don't want to play a female cause obviously you are sick of waifus. I don't think a male viera would have suited you, am I right ? Also SE permited males to wear special female costumes like the gold saucer ones, which can be disturbing at some point but it's a good laugh after all.
Go fishing, chocobo races, make an alt or just unsub and come back in a few months.
I don't see the point of making a topic if you just go.
I don't know you, you don't know me, I think you are too far in the game at the point you will go search any news of the incoming content instead of enjoying the actual one.
Wait the content to be ingame, 3 or 4 patches after the expansion release and you will have tons of things to do =)
Will you come back to watch the thread about a game you are supposed to not play ?
If not, no reason to post that you are leaving. I still don't get the point. :D
I will add this : Devs can't do anything without people complaining
Why do people always feel the need to come here and blog about way they are going to to stop playing?
Hopefully whm starts being competitive in SHB...
Exactly, they already think that Eureka was a success due to them wanting to implement MORE of it in 5.0.
I feel like more people need to be vocal with what they dislike in the game and not always been silenced by those teling them to just leave or do/play something else if you don't like it. I get that it gets old. I get that some people are annoyed by someone else's opinion because they don't agree with it but for the devs or anyone in a position of power to even know what changes to make, they need feedback...I guarantee that Male Viera and Female Ronso will make an appreance eventually due to the constant posts and threads. I'm sure they've seen the Eureka is not fun posts and hopefully will implement alternate ways to unlock the releic weapons for those who dislike killing the same monsters for hours.
There is a good percentage of people that like it. I know some that already got all their job relics upgraded to the final Physeos stage, which is completely optional to do. And there are those that like the previous style as Yoshi P said in one interview that he was surprised that there are people that liked it and wanted it back.
So a better way to give feedback is to participate in threads that are concerned about these content, since a lot will voice their opinion on it and will keep the thread alive a lot more than a single good bye thread that will most likely die in less than a week and the devs might not even see it.
If you've seen the threads discussing Eureka, you'll see the clear division between people. Those who like it aren't as vocal as those who don't. So it doesn't mean no one likes it.
Some people like it, yes. People who enjoy grinding, grinding and RNG. But this is a FF game, not a gacha. People shouldn't grind for 2 years to have a chance at obtaining an emote as the statistics say. Sure, some people are lucky and good for them. But it's just a Korean grind. I'm not a robot, I'm not here to do the same task day in and day out. I expect this game to play more like a RPG and less like a mobile game. Having Eureka is FINE but at least increase the drop rate considerably. Completely removing RNG elements from an MMO is challenging and to date I don't think any studio has been successful at it. I get that, it's a hard mechanic to overcome. But Eureka is just subscription padding and I hope that whatever they come out with next isn't going to be so RNG reliant.
As soon as I read : Gender lock, no male viera specifically and less male glamour (which is true but not by a large margin) I think is the real reason you're leaving.
Rather than everything else you said.
People are always asking for midcore content; I feel Savage kinda is that midcore now or at least ex primals.
Dungeons will never be midcore/or Harder due to the fact its suppose to be casual, heck....some people couldn't even do "The Burn" You really want more of that in expert roulette?
You may find it easy but a surprising number of people don't.
People will end up just leaving soon as it pops if it was any harder.
When you Queue up for a roulette you can get almost anybody and there is a high chance you're going to get someone that doesn't even try and just wants to get their tomes and get outta there.
Also forgive me but I went outta my way to look you up.
Unless this is an alt or maybe you just never got uploaded to FFlogs but~...maybe actually...I don't know...do savage if you think the game is easy?
You're not even doing the actual hard content, so sorry but; you can't say the game is easy if you're not even going to do the hard content of the game.
Please. Even on min ilvl are expert dungeons nowhere near the difficulty of leveling dungeons. I don't even want to start with what you claimed about tank/healer dps and all that other stuff because that would take way to long to point out how wrong you are there.
I don't like grinding at all. But I enjoy Eureka because of its open zones, group activity and its a lot more quicker to get its relic than previous style. And all of the stuff that have low drop rate are optional. So not everyone must have them. And this makes them sell for a lot of Gil, which is a good thing to those that don't have gethering/crafting classes to make Gil. I've made tons of Gil from Eureka stuff without having to grind any crafting or gathering class. So if some don't like Eureka and wants the stuff in it, they have another option of leveling up crafters and gatherers.
As if someone would really read this or give the information to someone that is really interested why a single player leaves. Lets be realistic for a moment: As long as not a big pile of players leave for the same reason, with pointing out said reason, no one at SE will care for 1 second. Threads like this one here will maybe force a shrug out of the mod and thats all.
Not only that, you also can't have a discussion in detail about each point without ending up derailing the thread. So the majority of the responses would either be agreeing or disagreeing with OP . And these threads don't last long enough to be considered a good source of feedback compared to the threads dedicated for detailed discussion regarding the points OP is talking about.
There absolutely is a disconnect when the Dev's general response is "You're not playing it right" and then have to eat humble pie a few months later.
WoW's problem is that Ion Hazzikostas their Game Director is a trained lawyer so you'll never get a straight answer out of him and Josh Allen their Community Manager is just a patronizing jerk (https://twitter.com/devolore/status/1045786554772250625).
If healer balance right now is an issue, and you feel bad for whm and you know that changing the way healing is done would need a fundamental change to the game systems, why would you want another healer in game?
