You can tell them some of the most friendly and helpful people from Fabul are coming. Honest people who say what they believe and aren't afraid of what others think of their ideas. Probbly the most non-elite people you'll find.. look for yourself in this thread.. I haven't attacked anyone, I've just expressed my ideas. On the contrary look at others from Besaid and Fabul who have attacked me in just about every post.. at the same time claiming how "friendly" they are.. well.. As an outside party, I would like to say that, you sir, are the instigator in this. This entire thread an attempt to attack a group of people that you have no actual experience with. Please next time you come on these forums and start vouching for others, at least have a valid well-thought out arguement. Am I not free to leave? I only said so and gave my reasons for doing so. Reasons that you may disagree with, we don't have to agree on them. I do admit to trolling in the other thread (it was pretty much a troll thread anyhow who can argue) but I created this to be a serious thread and I believe it is, at least on my end. Read my second post Molly. That is a positive post I believe. RP'ers here are "worry too much about nothing" I think but.. they kinda prove my point too, some are not so nice to outsiders. (though I still believe most are, there are some in my shell believe it or not.)

I believe all of you have missed the joke. Jadi is the most hardcore RPer out there. Look at OP, obviously the best role playing story of a guy who hates role players ever.

If you take issue with being on the unofficial RP server, discuss it with your friends, and move to a new server once you are given the opportunity. Don't attack the community you are trying to avoid in an attempt to attract public attention then ask "now who's coming with me?"

I did it so if there were people who didn't know.. now they do. Thats all. (A lot of people, if not most people on fabul were unaware of the RP on Besaid) I've asked nobody to come with me, (and we haven't even said where we are going) in fact I've halted all recruitment for my shell as well. Since these threads came out I've had people come up to me and ask me for a perl.. they have been turned down.

Not really.. there may be some strife between groups, thats all. 1-10%? It's just not something I want to deal with when I don't have to. Every other server is just as nice without this potential problem.

Wow, This thread is great! I thought it was going to be full of hateful anti-RPist, Instead i find that Its just one mentally underdeveloped hater against the whole FABULOUS movement. I almost did not click on the thread, we all know what they say about car accidents, and yet I just had to.

Anyway, this has never happened to me. Quite the opposite actually, I have been met with nothing but kindness from most everyone on Besaid, There is always the exceptional few who are jerks on any server. The only conclusion i can come up with for anyone being booted from a group is that there was some big douche baggery occurring on the part of the kickee.

the sad part is were all roleplayers in a way....playing a pretend game ....with a pretend avatar in a pretend world isnt that roleplaying some of us are just more committed to the role than others anyways i dont see what the big deal is if people wish to immerse themselves in fantasy whatever floats your boat man its your <pretend> life have fun with it=)

that's funny, i played ffxiv since day 1, and i had multiple characters throughout various server. one of them was in besaid, and i didn;t encounter things like what he speaks of. People have eyes to judge things for themselves rather than listen to one person view who most hardly even know who he is.

you can have your own opinion and fine, we get it , you don;t like Rp and you have said issues. All i see is you trying get attention and support for your opinion to make you feel better pehaps? posting into Every Rp topic in general or here. people can choose how they want to play, and i have seen many nice ones in besaid whether they rp or not. I had also seen not nice people who are not RP. the generalization on besaid due to your own 1 experience is just as it is. Your own one person experience. those that feel that way will find elsewhere and move on, instead of non stop posting and trying gather for attention. I feel balmung and whichever server be better without you.
